Kinda sucks to come back after 2 years to see the server absorbed and not recognizing anyone, you know? gg butchering the spell icons too. Anyway hello old Brell.

I wondered the same thing. I check LFG and don't recogonize a single name, only names i DO recogonize are Sojourners and some Watchers

I play on and off, currently i got a new video card but it's still dumping me in some zones for some reason.

Desktop is fried and just got cable back, so Im forced to play on a laptop that cant run WoW, so EQ works. Can't remember how to do a damn thing. Should just restart on Zek and PVP like I always wanted to.

Edit: Whats the command to restore the full screen again? Its stuck on partially minimized.

The new spell icons suk, especially at first.

Also suks that now the only purpose of a lvl 1 toon is to attain lvl 65+ as quickly as possible so you can join everyone else in the newer zones. There is no fun to be had at the lower levels, which is a shame.

I logged in for the free 21 day thing and thought the interface blows bad. So that was a waste of 3 hours patching.

I also thought I'd check it out with the free 21 day thing.

I logged in and ran around with my druid on my old secondary account. First I went to Rathe Mountains to see if I could remember how to quad kite. Only there weren't any hill giants there anymore. So I ran over to South Karana and figured I'd go AOE a bit in Split Paw, only to get almost owned by the first mob inside there. So I decided to run up to North Karana and bump into the old boss of Split Paw just wandering around outside like an idiot.

All in all it was very dissappointing to say the most. I couldn't even go to places I remembered. Are any of the old dungeons still lowbie places?

Most are. AFAIK, the only dungeons which have been converted to higher level content are currently Splitpaw the Still Eternally Empty and Cazic-Thule. Mistmoore was changed for a time, but then they reverted it to the old Mistmoore. Oh, and the RunnyEye changes. Unrest, Guk, Blackburrow, Mistmoore, the Soluseks, Sebilis, are all still there, in all their glory.

It's possible to revert to the 'old' skinnable UI, I just reverted the spell icons, away from the liquid ass brand new ones.

I also logged on during the 21 day reactivation period. I had meant to give away my mana robe and like 80k of plat but never logged on again after that

Feels like I have been gone for a long time
