WIping to Ptav

So there I was sitting in Qvic alone waiting for the minis to spawn. We do minis about 2-3x a month so that we can equip our newer people because EVERYONE has a rotation cycle of people, whether they admit it or not. We have been in Qvic forever, yet still have a few people without armor.

In pops a couple of Illusion of Apathy people and some Sojo soldiers. I chat with them friendly like about getting on the fabled BP list. Well, a named pop and our mobilization force starts to roll in. Sojo asks nicely what our intentions are, I say minis if possible then the Zoo before real raids begin. They say they had intended to get the minis as they have dominated every single spawn since beating Uqua Thursday. I say to them if they get the minis first, no harm, I won't be angry. A friendly race they say, I am like cool. One of the things I miss most about EQ is racing to mobs. Win or lose, it gives an edge to the game.

Well I tell our puller to pull Ptav as soon as we have 2 clerics in the zone since we already have a warrior there and let's be honest, that's all you need. Well the pull comes with a couple of adds that get mezzed. Sojo decides to help out and kill the adds, breaking mezzes, which kill first a beastlord (who I stupidly promptly ressed) and then the 2 clerics. That left my druid heals as the only thing left. I was at 80 mana and kept up the tank from 90 to 30 before we ran out of steam, 20 seconds before one of the clerics zoned back in. So we wipe.

Sojo was cool about it, finished the mini and split the loot. Then this Huldadorf or some crap starts going off about how we suck in bazaar channel cause we wiped to a mini. I mean please. Is there any guild who hasn't wiped to something they shouldn't have at least once?

I give him props for the WTS Ptav strats comments. That was funny. But then the crap about how a level 3 beastlord pet could tank Mshaas showed his true goofness. When you start spewing crap, you are crap.

Are there a lot of Brells people like this, because, honestly, I have liked everyone else I have come across so far? You guys got some good peeps.

They say this board is here to blow off steam. I am cool with it now. So I guess it works. I have enjoyed meeting everyone I have met so far with only one exception. Now if you guys can only step up your game and give my guild some real competition. Peace, out.

Yeah that shithead bears no similarity to the majority of the Brell community. It really sucks, he's not the best example of anyone from there. Take a better look at them before you condemn them to being fucktards for life. A few of them are actually close to being respectable.

Holdulaf is the Sun Tzu of EverQuest.

No guild from Brell was able to defeat RZTW without purchasing his strategy first, except for Silent Redemption.Not even the mighty Enshadowed could quite overcome The God of War 'til they consulted with His Holiness, although they had to modify the strat a bit to accomodate the numbers of their raid force, as seen here - Battling Rallos Zek The War Lord . As for my guild, Alarius, well we'd have never overcome Xegony's Boobie Taunt without His words of wisdom. When Watchers got their server first kill of the Cragbeast Queen, it was their "secret weapon" , Holdulaf's warder, who was tanking, for a fee ofcourse. Additionally, His ranking system of the server's best to worst is by far more accurate than even EQRankings or the Serverwide Penis Measuring Chart!

On the other hand, Brell's history is wrought with examples of when His words went unheeded. No need to go into those just yet, though.

You'd do yourself and your guild well to get on His good side. Anything else spells disaster. In time you'll learn to both respect and fear His knowledge.

You should have /movelogged as a guild to somewhere else if you were after that. Brell was a one cow town, and I'm starting to suspect Cazic was too...

Like every server we have are share of shitty people but the good ones do out number the bad

Wasnt there a sight awhile back that listed the worst players of each server?

And while I will agree that Cazic is not at the forefront of things, we were hoping with this merger Cazic would move up a notch. Competition always make you move quicker and work harder. Competition on Cazic has been lacking for a while. Our last serverwide first was the Dain belt

So step it up please! If our king cracks won't stiffen up your back, what do we need to do?

There you go making a logical assumption again. You'll find that dosn't fly here. Disdain fuels progression around here, not the need for any sort of glory.

Holdulaf is one of our finest trolls. Everybody from CT will hear from him at some point. I'd ignore him beforehand but that brings up another characteristic of Brell. People here insist on learning the hard way.
