I think it's on Route Tampa that the whole road was covered in denotatable (?) bombs. I have a picture somewhere i'll try to host. Anyway the whole road was covered in bombs and insurgetnts would just randomlly detonate them while convoys were passing along the road. South of Baghdad in the "triangle of death"

At least he didn't have am orter drop on him like a guy that just came back from my husbands unit. Luckily he's ok, but the morter literally dropped at his feet. I bet he's not wanting to count how many others he can survive =p

All the different routes in and around Baghdad have names. Route Tampa and Route Pluto are the only ones coming to mind atm. Some of the routes go to the Green Zone, some to other camps, some into various parts of Baghdad.
