Not sure how bad I will get flamed for this and not sure I care much, but seeing as though I am locked from their boards and half of them has put me on ignore, I guess the only place I can go to make this public to them is here: The one place I was warned not to go as their recruit.

Scenario: I left this guild's recruiting process because I got warned in many different ways for doing a couple of things they think is not right. I am raiding with people that mostly show up on my friends list and enjoy them very much at the same time. They welcome me with open arms where the other guild I am a recruit with makes me think its a privelege to raid with them, seeing as they are so uber and junk like this. When I leave, I leave a post saying I am sorry, can't do this anymore...RL will permit me from doing their required raid times...blah blah blah (I am sure it will be posted on here). I didn't want to hurt them too much, but also didn't want to go day to day afraid I was gonna screw up with them and end up losing it anyway, and all that hard work raiding with them has gone down the drain anyway. Instead, I apply to the guild that didn't put that pressure on me. The next day or so, I get very nasty tells and even my app looked like the rant boards. It seems that this first best uber guild thinks I used them to get into the second best uber guild. I lost a few friends and a few have me on ignore after sending me nasty tells.

Now that this has been blown out of proportion, I send a tell to a friend asking if he remembered how the Coirnav nameds were pulled seperate from the AE minis. I didn't ask for the entire layout of how Coirnav was killed, just one pull. NOW, I am seen as to plot against this uber guild in the takeover of POTime! After getting the nicest person I ever knew and was actually friends with before I apped to this said uber guild to send me the nastiest tell of how I used them for flags and strategies, I must say that alot of these people need to grow up, take a sip from the cup of Real Life and sit a minute to focus. This is the same guild that kicked someone out for something that happened six months ago. They seem to make a HUGE deal over petty stuff. Most of this guild has expressed to me how much they hate me for something so petty. They are known to use recruits and send them on their way, but when a recruit leaves to another guild, they think they are being used and create a bad reputation for that individual amongst the circle of ermmm....friends that they only talk to in game. The worst tell I recieved in game came from the most unsuspecting person I ever knew would even be mean. I thought she was the sweetest person...until now.

Now that it is out in the open, I thank you for your time. I have kept the guilds anonymous, but its not like you can't decipher who i am talking about that I left. If I wasn't locked out of their board or put on ignore after getting a tonguelashing from what seems each member have had the pleasure of doing, thus throwing me into their guantlet of nasty tells, this post would not be on this board today.

HMM.. I'm willing to bet the guild your presently apping for is'nt going to appreciate you refering to them as second best.
Secondly, As i recall most of the higher end guilds have the app sections passworded so yeah, you withdraw your app your going to be locked outta that section.
And lastly, though posting this here may have helped you let off a lil steam, it does'nt do your rep any good. :shrugs: Guilds are gonna look at this and call it sour grapes on your part. You'da been better off just taking the lashing that they felt you deserved and moving on. Once they've had their say they'll move on as well.
No one likes to be used. And whether you did it on purpose or by accident it still looks damn fishy that the day after you app with the "second best uber guild." (your words), You shoulda just been honest with them from the get go. If you felt they made you feel that raiding with them was some gift or privilage, made you feel "makes me think its a privelege to raid with them, seeing as they are so uber and junk like this." then thats certainly what you shoulda posted rather than make up some story. Lying is always where a person gets in trouble.

Just a note if someone wanted the "secrets" of raiding specific mobs pretty sure you could find it on the net. Even so I've watch RL friends kill stuff but watching it and actually being at the controls are to different things.

IMO it's one of the crazier notions that you can "learn" buy looking and reading think you have to go out and do it before you can get ahandle on it.

its not the apps section I am locked out of....its the whole damn thing...even the general section is locked for me...thus blocking off any communications I have with said uber guild.

after getting a tonguelashing from people in that guild and even one that was not even in that guild (don't even know where the hell he came from), I figured my rep was tainted alot anyway....so phuck it. Here I am. After I realized that I should have posted what I thought, it was too late...I was locked out of the boards ...ALL of them....general and all. Can't go back and edit something you no longer have access to.

With guild problems and false assumptions on account of some biased peeps, you won't win the arguements. Something i learned with a particular guild choice of mine, is to accept your losses, how grievous they might be, and move on. Flaming or just trying to talk about it about it, almost certainly makes it worse.

It does not matter what you say, or how much logic you can bring into the arguement, the biased opinion is there, only one person will know for sure and that's you.

As for strategies. Most can indeed be found on the net, despite the efforts put forth by some guilds to obscure them, some guilds are just too paranoid. Anyone with good knowledge about the game can also figure out a strategy after several tries.

Third best is Alarius, they are a pretty good guild no problem sharing the top 3 guilds in brell with them.

So guilds are getting picky to the point where they're rejecting strong players like Amalia now, huh.

Don't fret none, laddie. When organizations become THAT tight, they have nothing to draw on when their elites have to move on. Give them half a year they'll be even further down on the stepping stone list.

Uhhh recruiting processes allow the guild to see how you fit in with them, and allow you to see how they fit with you. OBVIOUSLY for some reason or another you didn't mesh with SR in general. There will NEVER be guild where everyone loves everyone 100% of the time, it's impossible, but the recruitment process allows people to see how things happen. YOU left, the recruitment process worked, if you weren't guilded , then the recruitment process worked. if you WERE guilded, then the recruitment process worked. Get it ?

Amalia, your a good player, i'm sorry your getting the shit beat out of you for doing what 90% of all app's that are going to be dropped do by moveing on. i'd take a guess that tensions in the guild were prolly strung tighter then a high wire act, you just happened to be the tenderest meat they could lash at. some get by unscathed others just get that boot rammed right up their ass. what can you do? =\

unfortunatly coming here was prolly the worst ya could have done. so long as your new guild your apping with was aware of the true cicumstances of your leaving and that they werent taking any of the shit your old app guild was tossing about, you'd of been alright. now its a nice big festering rant!

/licks, it will die like all things of this punny gaming world do. (maybe thats the biggest problem of all, mortality is sneaking up on them)
