Do be fair, they all fucking suck. The Dems might be favored higher, but they are only 1 point away from their own historic low. I'm going to live with Dd

They've reached the breaking point. It's crazy, because I've heard from more than a couple Republican friends that they are considering voting Democrat next election just to get the Tea Party out of the GOP. They seriously are that committed to doing something drastic (well drastic for them) and see no other way to get their party back.

They also seem to think they'll have a better chance to get a decent (aka non-Tea Party) Republican in the WH in 2016, if they shake the party up in 2014.

I have never, ever heard them talk like this before. It's always been a lot of denial that the Tea Party had any power. They were just the fringe crazies.
