With 430+ hours into Skyrim I can safely say "Ah hell no!'

Skyrim's free ranging is what keeps me happy. I don't want to be told where I can or can not go.
Mal: Seems we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us?

Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

Mal: Ain't we just.

As long as you can gain levels by filling your house with fresh vegetables to waist level, I'm good!

I love wandering around too, that's why it was only within the past month or so I finally finished the two main quests in Skyrim - I kept doing all the side things trying to avoid pushing that storyline along too quickly. I still hop back in and play around trying to finish up everything I have in my quest book (and the new ones I come across finishing those). I'd love an expansion for this game.

I actually reinstalled Dragon Age Origins so I could finish that one. My hard-drive had crapped out when I think I was about 3/4 of the way through, so I haven't had the heart to start over again until now.

Then there is also EQ brell I want to play....too many games and the weather has been too nice to stay inside and play. =/

Got bored with Skyrim pretty fast. Sidequests galore, just like riddler shit in Arkham City. Dont care. (haters gon' hate)

should be warned its being made by a different dev studio, Zenimax Online

the only thing the new mmo shares w Elder Scrolls is the game world and Lore

The Elder Scrolls Online preview leaked, detailed
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012- ... d-detailed
What appears to be Game Informer's world-first preview of The Elder Scrolls Online has been splashed across the internet. In a nutshell, The Elder Scrolls Online looks different and plays differently to a single-player Elder Scrolls game.

The graphics are stylised with a tint of cartoon, in a way reminiscent of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The gameplay is Elder Scrolls squashed to fit a lag-conscious and balance-conscious MMO world - i.e. real-time combat is out, and classes, levels, hot bars and a third-person viewpoint are in.

Becoming a werewolf or a vampire is a no-no, as will be mastering all skills and becoming godlike in power. Player housing is out to begin with.

It's a different genre and a different developer - TES Online is being built by the 250-strong Zenimax Online team. Bethesda Game Studios, maker of single-player Elder Scrolls, collaborates "extensively" on lore and geography, but keeps its nose out of high-level design decisions.

Those are bossed by Matt Firor, who led development of Dark Age of Camelot - an MMO noted for its 'realm versus realm versus realm' open world player versus player combat. And the hallmarks of that game are here to see.

Zenimax owns Bethesda as well as Zenimax Online, so not really a completely different studio.
