Flower (PS3)

Post by Ddrak »

Oddly fun, though quite short. Pretty damn amazing landscapes - they certainly had fun pushing the limits of the PS3 for a downloadable game. Probably worth the $10 or so it's gonna be in the US store.

Oh - you're basically the wind pushing a bunch of petals around. You use the motion control in the six-axis and use any button to blow the wind. Honestly, my 18 month old daughter can figure it out. Aim of the game is basically to open the flowers on each level by blowing your petal stream across them, with a few other gameplay mechanics thrown in for good measure.

Those guys seem to really enjoy making that type of game.

I have their first game for ps3, flOw, but haven't shelled out for Flower, yet.

Here's the trailer for flOw, since they go hand in hand. In flOw, you're a thing that eats other things to get larger. It's fairly similar to the old cell phone game Snake.

They're also working on a new game called Journey that's supposed to come out next year.

Bumping this because I finally got and beat flower (only need the open 10,000 blooms trophy to 100%), and it was excellent, and also to share this:

The first official trailer for Journey.
