There's a hell of a lot of good stuff in those articles. Still waiting for Ch 7 to come out but the whole thing is fascinating. What intrigues me the most is Obama wrote almost all of his own speeches - that's pretty damn amazing.

I think it sets the intelligence bar even higher. Not everyone is a talented writer, but it shows he knows his stuff.

Personally I have always thought that the majority of someone's speech should be written by them, with some aid for polishing it up a bit perhaps. However when you're giving a speech that someone else wrote it seems like a bit of a sham, and you should be speaking the words and thoughts of yourself and not some highly overpaid speech writer... but thats just my opinion
