At least everyone thinks it's an exploit. The developer took a bug report and divulged it to his guild and said he would look the other way in the name of getting epics. The "exploit" seems like a strategy to me, but the developer seems to believe he's giving them an exploit, so I guess he's guilty. This isn't the first time the EQ2 developers have been caught rolling in the mud, there was the Test Server transfer of a guild to a regular server that generated some hay a few months back. There probably plenty more corruption to go around' this LFG character that runs EQ2FLAMES hints at having more dirt.

Re: SOE Developer Outed On Exploiting
Fairly common knowledge apparently that they had a dev in their guild. I don't have much of a problem with devs providing strats......because you still have to pull off the strat. However, he provided them an exploit to get around having to legitimatly work the encounters script. Whether the script was at the time broken or not is imaterial to the fact that he knowingly divulged an exploit.
What should be done is this......if they have logs of their attempts at Druushk following this PM and it can be shown that they defeated the encounter using this exploit.....the dev should be fired. Bottom line.
