Well, okay, one comment. I'd love to see them try and enforce it.

We live in America because we let parties decide how their own primaries will be done as long as it follows higher election laws. That is not against it and it is totally unenforceable.

Honestly I don't have a problem with democrats voting in a republican primary as long as they do not also participate in the democratic primary.

Wow.. we better hope parties continue to decide how their own primaries will be done, because if it changes we won't be able to live in America anymore.

Fucking moron.
Correction Mr. President, I DID build this, and please give Lurker a hug, we wouldn't want to damage his self-esteem.

The oath thing is pretty silly, but not all state party rule changes are so silly. California has long been a lost cause by the time the primaries rolled around in June. Now they have been moved up to February and the Republican's changed their rules to not award all delegates to one winner. Delegates will be awarded by each district won by a candidate. So on the Republican side, California has made some shrewd moves to try and bolster the states importance in the primary. Republicans will have to pick and choose their fights by district, as none of them are going to walk away with the whole state. The Dem's still award their delegates the same way (winner take all for the state), so moving the primary up probably doesn't have nearly the same impact.

That isn't the only sign of freedom in our country and only in your sick and twisted mind would you believe I said otherwise.
