So, is this good news or bad news? I know Sony is partering with NCSoft, and I know almost all the CoX dev team signed up with NCSoft....

I doubt the change will have any real effect. They did announce that Villains and Heroes are interchangeable now, it doesn't matter if you only own one, you now get access to both. The game is starting to get pretty dated, I think when the new Marvel based game is released, the existing player base will probably start to melt away. Depends on how well the Marvel based game is done I guess...

I'm still having fun with the game. Sure it's getting pretty old, but being so solo friendly, and not requiring a huge time commitment to be able to enjoy it are 2 things that keep me from jumping to a new game.
