Blood Diner: A MUST see movie.

Post by Garrdor »

Blood Diner

This movie is great. I can't stress enough how much this movie has impacted my life as an individual. Check out these clips to get an idea of what this movie contains. These are pretty dry compared to the rest of the movie :-D

I wish there were more clips on Youtube of this gem of a movie.

Noteable scenes:

- Gravekeeper gets hit on the back of the head with a shovel. His eyes, as usual when this occurs, pop out of his head and appear to be peeled grapes with dots painted on them.

- Guy trying to get into a nightclub gives the doorman a hard time after he's denied access. The doorman 'throws' him onto the street (think - the dummy from Nickelodeon's "All That") He lays in the street right as a low-rider with hydraulics (sp?) pumping, rolls by sounding its "la cucaracha" horn. The bouncing car lands tire-first on the poor guy's skull and crushes his head. Laughter ensues from the people in line waiting to get into the club.

Bottom line:

Go see this movie. It's incredible in every single way possible. The soundtrack is synth based and reminds me of the cheese that played throughout "Scarface". It also reminds me of maybe some of the 'filler' music during the hit 80's cartoon "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"

This movie trumps ANY Troma production, BTW.

Is it better than the movie that made the following line famous:

"I kick ass for the lord" ?
