Any good advice on games to buy for le Holiday for my son? Adventure, RPG, Action, whatever, just something cool.

Hes 18 btw, so age or whatever no really a factor, nor do I really care since he doesnt live with me anymore lol.

FEAR looks great to play, but curious about multiplayer though. Call of Duty 2 and Battlefield 2, any inputs on those two?

I have Age of Empires 3 and love it. Would love to play with any that has AOE3 sometime.

Not sure on Painkiller though. The game didnt look that great during the The CPL World Tour 2005.

FEAR, BF2, COD2 are all good FPS
AoE3, Civ4 are both good strategy
I'd avoid MMOGs because they may not want the subscription fees.
Psychonauts is a pretty entertaining platform game I just finished.

Shooters are ass on consoles, yeah. Socom is the only one I've played and think is still ok.
