I'd guess City of Heroes, cause every other game I played was way rushed and needed a ton more beta testing time. (Sup Matrix Online, Saga of Ryzom, and Everquest II?)
There we go, flippin' unpredicitable verses, and curse the first words like tourettes on purpose.

I'd have to say DAoC or Planetside(even though its technically not a RPG)... those had the smoothest launches that I can remember...

Obviously AO and Matrix Online, for the victory.

If I had to guess......I would guess Guild Wars just because of how it is structured. Do I win a cookie?

City of Heroes, it was a better game at launch than it is right now.

I don't recall a ton of problems when Kunark went live. Oh the race to level up the iksar monks was legendary. I didn't have school that monday (apr 24th 2000 @noon est I do believe)...was first/only iksar monk on brell for a whole 3 seconds baby!

I was on dial-up when luclin was released. Two and a half days later I was able to play it. Then, when I zoned into the new zones, my graphics were so f'd up that I crashed about 20 times before I just quit for a week.

Ah...memories

I was running win95 (computer was too shitty old to upgrade to even 98) so I couldn't even play Luclin when it was released because of the directx upgrade. Had to wait a few months until I got a new computer.

I remember when Luclin was released, I built a new computer in preparation..

I did get to play it the day after it came out, but only because I left the dialup on as long as humanly possible.

Same thing happened to me. I remember running around the OverThere with like 2 other people logged on. For some reason my graphics card was one of the only ones that could still play after the initial release. Then it just went downhill from there.

Overthere was Kunark not Luclin.
