Agony was one of the first guilds created on Vazaelle. They were the first Vaz guild to enter Veeshan's Peak.

Despite a several month Hiatus, some ex members of the guild cared so strongly that they refused to join any other guilds. One particular member (Prybutok) bravely wore the Agony Tag during it's "defunct" stage.

Upon reforming, Agony Progressed in a smooth, efficient, and hardcore manner. We are the only guild on our server to enter the plane of time without having set a foot in Vex Thal. (despite and much to the chagrin of the server population, who was glad to sling names and doubt our way.) The Agony name instilled so much that members who left Vazaelle for other servers almost instantly transfered back upon even getting a wind of it's reforming.

While many members have a history of being "assholes" the bonds they create within the guild are so strong that nothing withstands it. We care about each other to the point where many of the members have travelled thousands of miles to meet (There is a yearly "Agony Barbecue" where members come from all over the US to meet each other. We might even have some canadians this time.)

A large percentage of people are real life friends, and many real lfie friendships have been made.

How is Agony? I'd never leave for anyone else. Agony 4 Life isn't just a saying in here.

Cannibia, I don't know what happened, or why you felt the need to leave. I don't knock it. People have come, people have gone. I don't expect you to ever give an explanation as to why you lied, despite the tells you used to send me claiming you were a friend.

But I do want you to know, that when you gave your sob story about being injured. I cried. No, not that fake /cry bullshit people use in game. I shed real tears.

Life goes on. But you will have to live with yourself knowing that someone shed real tears for your lies. Good luck in all you do.

see i think it's great that canni left. i think it's awesome you guys like canni. and think it's even better he's not with us anymore. because theives and lairs aren't the kind of people i want on my server or in the guild i'm with.

I understand those guys frustration, they got lied too. It wouldn't be the first time something like that happened, has probably happened to most guilds out there actually. While it's certainly poor character to not have the balls to say up front that yer not happy in a guild and going to leave...it doesn't make that person evil IMO. It is lame though if you get busted to laugh in the faces of those who were upset about getting lied too. An apology would have been the right thing to do.

This really has nothing to do with Watchers it's about cannibia's actions, watchers will make their own choice about it and it's nobody elses business but theirs how they handle it.

Just like I tell all you all to fuck off when it comes to how my guild handles our recruits, I'm sure watchers is telling all us to fuck off too about their members/recruits

They are perfectly capable of making their own decisions heh.

There was one person banned from our boards and that was the person to start this rant. His post was inflammatory and posted after the rant board post was made (given that he linked it). So don't make claims that it was brought to our attention to begin with when the very first post made was here and not on our boards.

No one else from Agony is banned because they haven't been posting inflammatory stuff. And to answer the question posed above, yes, I do consider a post with a link here and "Get your rant on" to be inflammatory. In fact, it pretty much defines inflammatory.

Your guild's comments have been noted and will be dealt with internally. As I'm sure is the case for your guild as well, disciplinary matters aren't held open for public scrutiny. We would have far preferred a nice tell to any of the officers, or a PM/Email via our message board rather than this public circus but I guess it wasn't to be.

Congrats on killing TZ and VZ btw. They're our bugbear at the moment. :)

I would just like to post a redirect as their appears to be some comprehension difficulties.

First off, its hardly stalking... Cannibia walked right into it, we didn't actively seek him out. Let me clarify how exactly this brilliant mastermind of stalking came about.

I understand from what you have stated that it was not an exceedingly difficult task to track Cannibia to the Brell server. However, the level of ease does not negate the behavior of stalking in its essence. That is a kin to saying, "Yes I stole the car radio, but they left the door unlocked". The point is you did stalk Cannibia to Brell, through internet searches, found this rant board, and made your character attack. It is express-idly this behavior that I base my summation of activity upon. Meaning, the action of stalking followed by an attack shows malice.

If you read extra close, you'll realize that not a single member of my guild has mentioned anything about his game play, nature in the game, or attitude in the game.

I would direct you to re-read the quote you posted. This was not a rebuttal to anything previously stated. It was simply a statement of my personal observation and interaction with Cannibia. This was used to provide a background for my view point. And I am glad we can agree at least on at least this point.

While some guilds do not care who they let in and will blindly stick up for members no matter what they do, SOH cares about who gets into our guild and we keep it pretty clean. This name definitely goes up on a list of the asshats not to allow in. Liars are never wanted in our guild and if we find someone lying..they are gone. Liars tend to cause problems later (ironically the ones we have caught lying were causing problems after their trial period ended). Not only is that type of person not able to deal with stuff that conflicts but they generally are user type ppl who will use a guild until they get their satisfaction or what they want from it and then they'll bail. If people think these tendencies only apply to where they came from and not their future, those people are mistaken.

The good thing is..this person will never be our problem
