She may be, but linking an opinion from someone who is obvioulsy biased doesn't really make your case.

It doesn't matter who says it, if they are right. I found his piece via a conservative site because they are appalled at his choice.Image

One more thing.....since you feel the Newsweek columnist is too bias to have an opinion.

Kathleen Parker, one of America's most conservative female columnists, called for Sarah Palin to get out of the race. Pretty much saying because she is an embarrassment to the party.

I think Palin's record, her scandals and her interviews make the case all on their own.

There are a lot of people on the conservative side of the fence suggesting that she drop out. I don't think she will though. However, maybe AFTER the election. I can see that as a possibility.

I wonder what would happen if she dropped out and someone more qualified stepped in....it would be a great October surprise (well maybe not "great" for me, because I don't want McCain to win). The last Hail Mary.

Depends on who would step in. But I don't think that will happen, unless she really does need to drop out for personal reasons, not political ones. McCain has tied his election to her, for good or for bad.

That being said, if McCain does want to switch horses, he'd better do it now, rather than later, to give the elecorate time to adjust.

A VP switch would be an admission of defeat. The McCain campaign can't do that. The Obama campaign couldn't replace Biden without looking like tools either.

To paraphrase Rumsfeld. You go to election day with the VP you have, not the VP you wish you had.
