quick prediction for today's games....

Arizona vs. St. Louis - Shaky StL offensive line still gets the job done....but not by much. 21-14 RAMS
Detroit vs. Chicago - Lions end record road game losing streak 24-10 LIONS
San Diego vs. Houston - LT visits end zone, has a butt-load of yards, but still loses 17-13 TEXANS
Seattle vs. New Orleans - Penalties abound as sloppy NO faces soon to be playoff stud Seattle. 28-14 SEAHAWKS
Oakland vs. Pittsburgh - who cares....17-14 RAIDERS
Tampa Bay vs. Washington - Joe GIbbs makes triumphant return as 'Skins roll 21-6 REDSKINS
Jacksonville vs. Buffalo - I predict a low scoring affair for these two teams....14-10 BILLS.
Baltimore vs. Cleveland - Injured running game of Cleveland meets Ravens D....10-3 RAVENS
Tennessee vs. Miami - Feh.....game was on saturday...but I dare someone to pick Miami...any game this season....I double dog dare ya!
Cincinnati vs. New York Jets - Two promising teams....maybe battling for the final playoff spot at the end of the season. Jets D is younger and hungiers than last season and the Bengal's D still has some holes to fill-should be an entertaining one. 28-21 JETS
Atlanta vs. San Francisco -Mike Vick and the West Coast Offense will be offensive the first half of the season, but they will eek out a win today 17-10 FALCONS
Dallas vs. Minnesota - Isn't Vinny collecting social security yet??/? Vikings blitz their way to victory forcing turnovers....21-7 VIKINGS
New York Giants vs. Philadelphia - Terell Owens blows up on sideline...Philly wins ugh-lee. 9-6
Kansas City vs. Denver - I'm gonna spend a little time on this one cause it's a hometown game. a few points 1. Denver's offensive has more holes than swiss cheese. 2. Sports Illustrated writer Peter King has picked Jake Plummer to win the MVP this season. Don't bogart that stuff, Pete...Plummer's stats for this season 2700 yards, 52% completions, 12 TD's , 11 INT's . Broncos' D holds for a while but finally breaks against a KC offensive onslaught. 27-17 CHIEFS

Monday night game-
Packers vs. Panthers - Does Farve have another playoff run in him? Will the Pakc D hold up during the season? Can Delhomme and the defending NFC champs continue the level of play they ending last season on? 17-10 PANTHERS

Unfortunately the Eagles still can't stop the run, although it may have to do with Tiki just having their number, but whatever it's still a win~ I also enjoyed watching Eli get owned at the end there, quite amusing  Next week's game should be awesome with Minnesota, I'll predict a game in the 30s - GET YO POPCORN READY

Yeah, for one play. 7/12ths of his yards were on one play. If you can go the majority of the game only giving up 55+ yards to a good back like Barber, then you're ok.

Well clearly the Giants should just put in Manning to hand the ball off to Tiki and they'd be golden.

Lesse, doing up the tallies from last week I'm 10 - 6. Not a bad start. 62.5 % accuracy is still a winning percentage. Note, I didn't consider anything against the spread, because I didn't care. =D

There were some surprises last week. Buffalo and Carolina really let me down. Cleveland surprised everyone, especially the Ravens, and San Diego may not be as bad as we thought. Oh, and I was dead wrong on Miami not being able to score. Goddamnit. I had them pegged to lose 22 - 0. But I'm still on the right pace for my Dolphins 0-16 prediction. Heh heh.

Lets start:

Carolina at Kansas City. Carolina rolled over and played dead last week against a Green Bay defense that really isn't supposed to be that good. Sure it's a decent defense, but Carolina should still have been able to run the ball better then a combined 50+ yards. When you get behind like that, I guess you forgo your bread and butter for some aerial nonsense that got them nowhere. Carolina's D was also pushed around bigtime by the Green Bay O-line, leaving huge holes for Ahman Green et al to run through. And this was all at home. Now they're on the road against a very powerful offense with another really good offensive line who can push people around and open holes. KC's defense is even worse then Green Bay's, so maybe the Panthers can actually move the ball. KC, on the other hand, is coming off an embarrassing loss to Denver. Sure, it was in Colorado in that Mile High air, but when you force that many turnovers and can't win? Something's wrong with you. Denver made sure that everybody knows that KC's defensive line is still a big warm stick of butter, and that wont help against a powerback like Stephen Davis. KC may be able to exploit the same weaknesses in the D line that Green Bay did, and Priest Holmes could have a good game. If not, KC's passing attack is ok, but not amazing. Panthers 20, Chiefs 24

Chicago at Green Bay. Well, Chicago really fought hard last week against the Lions, and this team may be more in cohesion then I thought. It is really hard to gauge a team like this when they play another team that's questionable their first week, but from what I saw, the rushing attack needs improvement and Rex Grossman needs to find more open receivers. 2 interceptions is already 2 too many. Green Bay has it back working with a powerful rushing offense that should pretty much dominate the NFL. Favre didn't have to do a lot of passing against Carolina, and that suits the Packers' offense just fine. They can control the clock, gain first downs, and keep the opposing defense tired if they do this, and I dont know if the Bears are going to be able to slow them down any, especially in Lambeau. Bears 14, Packers 28

Denver at Jacksonville. Denver looked ugly in a win against Kansas City, at least in everything not called the running game. If this is a Superbowl contender, then they have some things to fix before the postseason. The offensive line, as predicted, is capable of getting any running back 1000 yards a season just on their effort alone. You can stick a blindman with two broken legs back there and he'd get at least 100 yards a game. With that in mind, look for Shanahan to basically pound the ball down Jacksonville's throat, mixing in a lot of play action rollout type passes every so often just to keep the other side guessing. Denver's D looked pretty hungry in it's first game together. Champ Bailey and Lynch did fine. Bailey even lined up at wide receiver for a few plays on offense, which should show just show piss poor the WR corps is for the Broncos. Jacksonville, on the other hand, got stupid lucky last week against a really good defense. One dumb mistake by a Bill's cornerback got them the win. Does that mean that Jacksonville is a bad team? No, but that doesn't mean they're a good one either. The Jaguars did a very nice job on defense of shutting down the Bill's offense. Yes yes, you can laugh now. Point being, I don't think Denver will have a problem, even down in a hurricane. Broncos 24, Jaguars 16

Houston at Detroit. Houston sure had a tough time last week against San Diego didn't they? That's pretty pathetic when you consider that the Chargers are ranked as one of the last place teams and Houston was supposed to be on the up and up. Me? I was never totally sold that Houston was a good team, but I had them picked last week because I thought at least they were better then the Chargers. The Texans have a very good versatile running back in Dominick Davis who did some really good things last week, and they have a great young wide receiver in Andre Johnson to catch David Carr's passes. So why the fuck didn't it work? Not sure. When you play a bad team like San Diego it's hard to figure things out. Guess what? Houston's got another "not so easy to judge" team to play against this week too. Detroit is riding a good vibe after a come from behind win against Chicago, but when you beat a bad team, can you really call it a victory? Hell, if you are a bad team yourself, maybe. Detroit needs some challenges, and I dont think Houston is it. Oh sure, the Texans will throw some things at them to confuse them, but overall this is really Chicago vs Detroit take 2. Way too hard to gauge what will happen in this game, but I think the Lions can go 2-0 if they try hard enough. Texans 19, Lions 21

Indianapolis at Tennessee. The Colts just dont have it easy do they? After facing the Superbowl champions in a very tough tough loss, they have to face a still good Titans team. Oy. Not much to say about the Colts, their rushing attack was amazing last week, but they under utilized it. Their passing attack was just fine, in about as good a synch as they'd like, but it didn't do enough. Their defense was shredded by Tom Brady and his 3 Stooges. Bonuses? Colts didn't give up a lot of rushing yards, and their running attack seems good. Use those, and you'll win. The Titans had an oddly tough time against Miami, not that it's too surprising since Miami's Defense is lightyears more solid then the offense is. So it's really hard to figure out if Tennessee is ok after losing their #1 running back and two of their top Wide Outs or if they're just kind of treading water for a while hoping to stay afloat long enough to get everything back in place. Some teams can do that. Ask New England last year. The question is, can the Titans hold up? Even though they're at home, The Colts are a more solid team right now then they are. Colts 26, Titans 23.

Pittsburgh at Baltimore. 3 TDs, 1 rushing yard. I think we know how the Steelers are going to do things down at the goal line. Question is, can you stop them? Pittsburgh looked just fine against the Raiders last week, just as I figured they would. The offensive line of the Steelers has gotten it back together and is opening big holes for Duce Staley, and providing Maddox enough time to throw the ball. Defensively, they were actually doing fine. Rich Gannon really was the one who beat them on those two touchdown passes, but even still, you can't have that happen. Good thing for them their opponent isn't a passing threat at all. The Ravens, yow. Missing Johnathan Ogden yet Jamal Lewis? Without their big left tackle, it doesn't seem the Ravens cant open very many holes for Lewis to power through. Without a running game, that leaves Kyle Boller with the audacious task of throwing a lot to Todd Heap and whatever receiver wants to try to play football. The Ravens defense actually did fine against the Browns, but they're going to have a tougher offense to play with this time. At home? They should be ready. But even 7 points may be too much for this pathetic offense. Steelers 20, Ravens 10

San Francisco at New Orleans. No, the 49ers didn't prove they were a good team last week. No, the 49ers aren't even close to being able to say they should have won that game. And no, the 49ers wont win this week either. Rattay showed the one question mark that people had on him during pre-season, his health. He got knocked out and came back later to lead his team on a charge towards a comeback victory, but in the middle of all that, his team did nothing and lost. Rattay may be a good quarterback, but you can't take 2 quarters off and expect to win ballgames. Barlow didn't get a whole lot going either, and the 49ers Wide Receivers really need to learn how to get around defenses. Hell, last week, they got around a defense; the FALCONS defense. Not a big moral victory for them at all. If they think that they can take anything away from that game, they can forget it. They looked exactly the way they should: like a good defensive team and an offense that show's its inexperience and age. They have a tougher defense to play this week, and New Orleans isn't happy after their loss to the Seahawks. The Saints looked abysmal last week on offense. Should they have won against the Seattle Seahawks? Maybe, but they didn't. In fact, their offense resembled that of Seattle's offense a year ago: Dropped Balls KILL. Brooks had nobody but Horn to throw too, and you can't have that in modern NFL football games. Seattle's defense did a very good number on the rushing attack of the Saints, and that will have to improve too. Duce McAllister doesn't seem to be able to do it on his own; he needs a fullback in front of him to really open the gaps wide. The o-line isn't doing it alone, so something has to be done. Saints defense actualy looked good last week, and should do well against a very stupidly young 49ers team. 49ers 19, Saints 24.

St. Louis at Atlanta. Ooh boy. Hey Rams? You almost got beat a home by the Cardinals. Yep, I said it. The Cardinals. I think, of all the teams last week, the Rams lookest the worst in terms of how they were expected to play, but I think that's a small hiccup on the road to success, because they still did win. And that's what matters. However, Bulger showed his weaknesses last week, and those are going to be exploited by other teams. Even with Orlando Pace back on the offensive line, the Rams still got bumrushed and Bulger got nervous. Marshall Faulk looked good, and so did Stephen Davis. The Rams rushing attack appears to be back in full swing, and their passing attack was fine considering they didn't have Tori Holt in the game last week. Defense looked ok, but we'll see how they hold up against better offenses then Arizona. BTW, Atlanta's D sucks, so I think the Rams will find ways to score. Speaking of them Falcons, Vick looked about as good as he's supposed to be. And um, yeah, I love it when I'm right. I knew that dumbass quarterback wouldn't pass for over 175 yards. Has he EVER passed for more then 175 yards? Warrick Dunn looked like he thinks he belongs in that offense, so maybe he'll get the nod more often over TJ. Duckett. No knock against Duckett, I just think Dunn proved that he wants to play bad. Atlanta's D did some different things against the 49ers, but still got shredded in the fourth quarter by a bunch of young inexperienced receivers. That can't happen. The Rams offense is explosive, and might have a field day. If the Atlanta D can make a key stop here and there, they may win this, but I think this'll be a high scoring affair, and I dont have confidence that the Falcons can win in a shootout. Rams 30, Falcons 27.

Washington at N.Y. Giants. Joe Gibbs was successful in his first game back from a long hiatus, and I think he has the Redskins believing they can win. He certainly has an offensive line that opened big holes against Tampa Bay's defense, and Clinton Portis looked great in that offense. The passing attack was lackluster, but what else is new? I think that'll turn around against the Giants, because I think the Giants defense got a bad taste of what happens when you pass against them. Washington's defense played some inspired football last week, with a lot of flying around to the football and confusion tactics that worked really well on Brad Johnson. We'll see. It's not like the offense they have to play this week is really all that amazing. The New Jersey Giants really didn't play a bad game last week, they just were overwhelmed by a massive new assault from a tandem that may not be able to lose. McNabb really tore the Giant's passing defense apart and Terrel Owens proved to us that he can get open. Pluses for the Giants: Kurt Warner looked fine, considering the defense he had to work against. Tiki Barber can bust 75 yard plays when he feels like it. And Eli Manning can take a monsterous hit. What I don't like about last week's game was putting Eli in there at all. By doing that, Coughlin is just setting himself up for "Eli" chants. Gonna be a long year for the Giants. Redskins 20, Giants 19.

Seattle at Tampa Bay. Seattle started out sloppy but got on track quickly last week. Shaun Alexander showed everybody why he should be considered one of the best running backs in the game. He's versatile, capable of rushing big and receiving big, and he finds the end zone any way he can. That kind of tenacity will go a long way. The Seahawks had a few dropped balls, especially from Koren Robinson, but nothing like last year's debacle, so hopefully that's behind them. What was really impressive was Seattle's defense. Ray Rhodes has this team looking sharp, especially against the run. If the Seahawks can continue to shut down running games, they're going to win a lot of games this year. The Bucs couldn't have looked worse last week against the Redskins. You know you're in trouble when the only offensive points you scored is a Field Goal. I simply don't know what the hell happened to Tampa last week, but hopefully it happens again this week against my Seahawks, because I want them to go 2-0. =P Seattle 47, Bucs 16.

Buffalo at Oakland. Dear God, Buffalo sucks again. I thought that maybe with their first quarter success they were going to have it figured out and turned around. The more I look at this team, the more I don't understand them. Their defense does it again and again week by week, if all they could do is score 17 points, they'd win all the time. I may not be an offensive mastermind, but when you have a great quarterback, a couple of good WRs, a couple of really talented running backs, why the fuck can't you score at least 17 points a game? Something is not right in Buffalo, and I am not convinced anymore it is the offensive line. We'll see what they do this week. The Raiders had a very very good game last week. Yeah, they lost, but this Raiders team looked much more like the Raiders of 2002 then the Raiders of 2003. Gannon choked early and often, but got things going after a few drives of "figuring out" how to pick apart the defense. Sure, that's not a good thing in taking so long, but it's a start, and it's possibly a show of things to come. Will they have the same success against the Bills? hard to say. Buffalo's defense is a lot stronger then Pittsburgh's, but who knows? I've seen weirder things happen. I liked how the Raiders were going more to their YOUNGER receivers instead of always relying on Rice to get open. Rice had his moments, but the touchdowns went to faster, younger guys and some real guile by Gannon. The rushing offense still needs improvement, damnit. The D was ok, but needs to improve too. Bills 17 (MAYBE), Raiders 20

Cleveland at Dallas. Wow, Jeff Garcia has made me a believer. I thought that Cleveland was going to have a long year, but I could be wrong. There seems to be a sort of fire in the Browns area now, and I don't mean along the Allegheny River. Are they a super team ready to compete? Maybe not yet. The offense still needs work, but it's a good start. The defense looked amazing against the rush last week, but it is really hard to gauge how well they played considering Baltimore's flaws. I think they can do ok, but they'll have a tough offensive line to best in Dallas. Speaking of the Cowboys. /snicker.... wow, I love it when I'm right. Hey Dallas, still think Vinny's the answer? 24 points eh? Yeah, not bad. But when you can execute a 19 play drive and NOT SCORE, you have something seriously wrong with you. My guesses? Testaverde's one of them. 50 passes. I guarantee only 5 were deep balls. 10 were medium-long passes. The rest were short dumps, curls, drags, and safety valves. Did he look ok? Oh sure, he looked great. But I don't think he has the zip or the accuracy to go long. The only reason his long passes were successful was because Antonio Bryant really played hard. Hat's off to that guy. Problem two: The hell was Parcells thinking by using Eddie George so sparingly? I give up. Were you not so happy about getting a veteran back after all? Ritchie Anderson was ok, but he's not ready to be a big time rushing back in the NFL. Julius Jones I can't imagine is going to be better. So what gives? By the by, Dallas may have a good defense, but it looked pah the tick against the Vikings, and they managed to shut down Randy Moss for most of the night (Moss did get two TDs, but only 27 yards). The other receivers had a field day, and Onterio Smith did just fucking fine thankyouverymuch. Dallas? You're a 5-11 team again, folks. Trust me. Probably will beat the Browns at home tho. Browns 20, Dallas 24.

New England at Arizona. Jesus. Patriots 28, Cardinals 13.

N.Y. Jets at San Diego. Jets looked good. Jets looked real good. Offense and defense looked real good. Curtis Martin looked real good. Pennington looked real good. Pulling guards and tackles are lovable things to watch eh? Pete Kendell, Kevin Mawae, you guys rock! You can probably do at least what you did last week against a shitty San Diego defense. Hell, if you don't score more points then last week I'll be offended. Chargers had something going, but it's really hard to tell if it was positive or just because they beat the shit out of the Houston Texans. Drew Brees looked a lot more comfortable this one game then he did all of last year, and if he stay that way and builds confidence, they might have a team down there. We KNOW what Tomlinson can do, but what can the rest of them do? Maybe they can score touchdowns! San Diego's defense needs work though. Jets 42, Chargers 20.

Miami at Cincinnati. PFFT, ha ha ha ha! Fielder? 4 plays, 2 Ints, one fumble. God, I love it when I'm right. Oh sure, the Defense still plays like they want to win, but what can you do with an offense that piss poor? Oh, Miami. Two down, 14 more to go. Bengals looked ok all around, but I have a feeling that Cincinnati's going to be feeling it if Carson Palmer can't win more. Oh he'll win this one, but next week and the next? I understand the decision, but how long can you seriously sit and wait and lose before you bring in your proven starter in John Kitna? You have to have a defense that can hold onto leads too. Kitna won shootouts last year, can Palmer? Dolphins 0, Bengals 24.

Monday, Sep. 20
Minnesota at Philadelphia. Oooooooohhhhh. This game makes every passing game fanatic cream their shorts. Moss? Owens? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? This'll be a good game to watch, and damn tough to try to predict. The Vikings proved their offense is just as top notch, and in fact probably BETTER, then last year. Rushing, passing, it's all good. If Mike Tice can keep his team from shooting themselves in the foot with stupid penalties (group celebrating on the field after an interception? That's just dumb folks) then they should go a long ways. I am NOT convinced that their defense is top notch, because Dallas made their passing defense look like statues. Really, it was Dallas' own fault that the game last week wasn't a lot more close then it was. So Minnesota has some work to do yet on that side of things. The Eagles, on the other hand, were marvelous. All around marvelous. Passing, rushing, and defense all showed their improvements. They're going to be a tough team to beat, especially at home, and with an aerial attack like that (even if they do nothing with it, the fact that it exists is enough), a rushing game with a really hungry young back, and a defense that was proverbially "shut down" last week all around, this team is well deserved their praise. Fun game to watch, hard to predict an outcome. Going out on a limb here. Vikings 24, Eagles 27.

Week 1 review: 10-6. Overall: 10-6.

Week 2 picks:

Carolina at Kansas City - I can't be wrong twice on KC. Smith being out hurts, too. 28-20.
Chicago at Green Bay - Once again, lack of offense not named Thomas Jones victimizes Chicago. Once again, however, TJ puts up good points for me. 31-17.
Denver at Jacksonville - Upset special, kiddies. Jags ride the defense one more time. 17-14.
Houston at Detroit - Holy hell, Batman, it's an offense! 20-17.
Indianapolis at Tennessee - Common sense says Peyton has a big day as Indy takes out their frustration on the Titans. 35-24.
Pittsburgh at Baltimore - Another coin flip game. Hope Lady Luck is better to me on this one. 23-21.
San Francisco at New Orleans - N.O. rights the ship against the sinking Niners. 30-13.
St. Louis at Atlanta - Vick > Bulger, therefore Falcons > Rams. 24-14.
Washington at N.Y. Giants - Teams combine for 300 total yards in the 'Who cares outside of the Northeast' game of the week. 10-6.
Seattle at Tampa Bay - Tampa Bay's #1 receiver this week will be Keenan McCardell. Too bad he's not signed. 27-9.
Buffalo at Oakland - Neither one excites, but Bills are steadier. 17-13.
Cleveland at Dallas - Cleveland lets down. Dallas lets fly. 34-14.
New England at Arizona - Pats' worst challenge this week will be not falling asleep in the tunnel. Brady works half a day. 41-10.
N.Y. Jets at San Diego - Says something when you think the Bolts are more real than the Jets. 26-24.
Miami at Cincinnati - Johnson & Johnson make sure there's no more tears, except in Chumpass Dave Wannstedt's crying towel. 27-13.

Minnesota at Philadelphia - Two high flying offenses. Vikes are just a wee bit more banged up than Philly, thouigh, especially at RB. Westbrook gets two scores and Philly wins 31-30.

Carolina at Kansas City - Carolina will win after their horrible loss at home to the Packers.
Denver at Jacksonville - Jags will expect Denver to run the ball, opening up the passing game for Plummer. Bailey will shut down Leftwich.
Indianapolis at Tennessee - McNair throws and runs all over Indy's crappy D.
San Francisco at New Orleans - Ken Dorsey? Who the fuck is that?
Washington at New York Giants - Portis, Portis, Portis.
Buffalo at Oakland - Sapp and Washington keep the Bill's running game to a minimum. Mularkey is going to have a tough year.
New England at Arizona - This is laffo
Miami at Cincinnati - Although I hate to admit it, the Bengals easily have this game in hand.
Chicago at Green Bay - Favre started out pretty good against the NFC best Panthers. Expect him to throw for 250+ in this game.
Houston at Detroit - This is a close one but I have to go with Houston. Rogers is out and Bly is out for this game also. Carr will throw against the Lions pretty viciously.
Pittsburgh at Baltimore - Is it any question who I pick for this matchup?
St. Louis at Atlanta - This is my upset special for the week. The Rams had a hard time against the Cardinals last week and the Falcons did pretty damn well this week.
Seattle at Tampa Bay - Tampa has lots it's luster ever since they won the Super Bowl. Alexander will run all over them.
Cleveland at Dallas - Testaverde gets back into rhythm against the Browns. Julius Jones destroys the Browns D even though they kept Jamal Lewis to 57 yards last week.
N.Y. Jets at San Diego - Pennington throws for three TDs while Curtis Martin rushes for two. Tomlinson grabs two TDs himself while Brees sucks it up.
Minnesota at Philadelphia - This is by far the game to watch this week. Culpepper vs McNabb and Moss vs. Owens. Philly wins it because of homefield advantage.

ok since im big on football ( defintally not as much as zan....btw how long does it take you to write those post  ) here are my fantasy football supremes.

1. adam vinaterie(sp)- best damn kicker in football no contest. you can always count on him to kick a field goal when needed.
2. marvin harrisson + peyton manning combo- ok these two are dominate plaers and just getting them on your team together pretty much gets ua t least 1 passing touch downs per game and TONS of yards.
3. tom brady- yes im a patriots fan being n massachusetts and no im not jsut saying this becuase i love the pats, but he is dominate. he has the record of most consecative passes without an interception, has 5 GREAT recievers that a;ll touch the ball so the defense cant double team well they can but not to the amount like harrison, AND he can throw a baal 50 yards threw triple coverage into the WR hands.
4. priest holmes- DAYUMN....nuff said
5. patriots D- yes again the pats they are going to be a dynasty. many great young playes backed up with speed and field smartness. passing into the middle with bruschi and vrabel is impossible, ty law is just a damn beast. BUT on the contrary they will have to be careful, since they dont have a superve run defense with BIG ted washington gone. my predictiona t end of season they will alow 190ish passing yard per game, and 130 running, thats IF they can get their blitzs to the perfection of last year
here gnomer gnomer gnomer i got a treat for u....BANG

Went 11-5 last week which is better than I thought I did so gotta get next week's out now before the games start !

San Francisco at New Orleans - Losing to Seattle was expected, they can't lose to San Francisco, especially with Dorsey (WHAZ!) at QB.

Washington at NY Giants - No Manning, no win. Warner sucks, yay Ole Miss. Rack up fantasy totals for me Portis.

Denver at Jacksonville - Although the Kansas City defense sucks horribly, Quentin Griffin showed to be quite the effective at RB and Plummer is a good QB as long as he's not throwing with his left hand

Pittsburgh at Baltimore - Lewis is angry at losing especially to the Browns and the SOLDIER so they will come out and get revenge on the Steelers

St. Louis at Atlanta - The Michael Vick show rolls on but a hapless secondary sans DeAngelo Hall gets shredded by Bulger, Holt, Bruce, and Faulk.

Houston at Detroit - Carr is better than Harrington and Davis/Hollings is better than Jones right now so Houston wins this one. Poor Charles Rogers tho :( :( :( :(

Chicago at Green Bay - No brainer as Chicago looked awful against even the Lions and Lambeau is a tough place to play

Indianapolis at Tennessee - Manning learns to not take a sack and Edge stops fumbling. Colts beat the Titans again.

Carolina at Kansas City - Carolina is angry but the defense looked lacking against Green Bay and Delhomme lost his favorite target in Steve Smith. Besides, the Chiefs are hard to beat at Arrowhead.

Seattle at Tampa Bay - Portis ran all over Tampa Bay and Seattle actually has a passing game, too. Uh oh for Gruden and his aging lamers.

Cleveland at Dallas - SOLDIER makes it into the end zone this week. Strike the Heisman pose again baby.

Buffalo at Oakland - Norv couldn't cut it in Washington and can't in Oakland and Bledsoe is looking a bit better now so shouldn't be hard.

New England at Arizona - Bradymania, can they be stopped? Dennis Green needs a miracle here.

NY Jets at San Diego - The Bionic one and C-Mart are hard to beat when clicking on all cylinders. I just hope he gets another three TDs for me.

Miami at Cincinnati - MIami still sucks, Palmer isn't Kitna yet but not even he can lose this game. Also give some love to Chad Johnson and his blinging gold teeth !

Minnesota at Philadelphia - Both defenses are porous leading to some huge numbers for Culpepper/Moss and McNabb/Owens which is good because I have Moss in multiple leagues as well as McNabb

Forgot about picks until last second, so no big descriptions just comedy comments.

Carolina at Kansas City - Carolina looked less than sharp Monday.
Denver at Jacksonville - Denver didn't let me down!
Indianapolis at Tennessee - Colts blew the NE game, but they won't blow this one.
San Francisco at New Orleans - Picking the Saints is sorta sad, but so are the 49ers.
Washington at New York Giants - MANNNNNNNNNING
Buffalo at Oakland - Coin flip home advantage pick.
New England at Arizona - Going out on a limb.
Miami at Cincinnati - Bengals bounce back.
Chicago at Green Bay - FAVRE
Houston at Detroit - Home team
Pittsburgh at Baltimore - MADDEN COVER CURSE
St. Louis at Atlanta - MIKE VICK
Seattle at Tampa Bay - Hasslebeck best put up some damn numbers
Cleveland at Dallas - JEFF GARCIA FOR MVP
N.Y. Jets at San Diego - Bionic arm cannot be stopped

Minnesota at Philadelphia - GET YO POPCORN READY
