Are you talking about Alcide? (I haven't seen the latest episode yet). If you are, Alcide remains in the Southern Vampire stories for quite a few books, and since they are loosely following them ...you haven't seen nearly the last of him.

All the guys on the show have pretty long hair actually, I'm just not a big fan of that style I guess.

I don't like long hair either or Sam's trailer park hair - which is why I think Eric looks even better this year.

Though I do make an exception for Eddie Vedder like ...15 years ago. He was haawwt.

I can't seem to find a picture of him holding the jar of remains either - that was kinda fun/creepy.

Honestly I can't shake the similarities between Russel and Final Fantasy VI's antagonist Kefka. Anyone else played that one? One of Russel's lines from this last ep especially sealed it in for me - "Soon there will be chaos, and then there will be me." The biggest difference between them is that Kefka's more nihilist while Russel's more narcissist.

Hidden Information!
Why does every self-administered haircut scene in the history of film have to be dramatic and the final product obviously of professional quality (If not bald)?

They're reaching with Lafayette. Shoulda killed him back in season one. I love his character, but it's torture watching the writers try to figure out what to do with the poor man.

Flaming mexican witch nurse. /yawn

Sookie laughing maniacally as she flushes Talbot. Bitchin.

Bill and Eric stood there taunting Russell so long it became satirical.

Godrick...is a ghost? Really? Uber-gay. Or maybe Eric's just loony.

I've been waiting for Hoyt's mom to go vampire hunter. I'm rooting for Jessica; she's one of my favorite characters.

Sam goes bad. This could be interesting. They've been piling shit on him all season, and now that he's broken (As I'm assuming he hit his target) I'm curious to see how they continue his character.

Eric telling Sookie about Bill's manipulations and her subsequent reaction was definitely the highlight of the episode. Possibly the season. I don't think they could have played that any more perfectly. Hopefully they don't play back into another make-up between them, I've gotten so fucking sick of their relationship.
Overall good episode. Didn't quite feel like a season finale, but good, with some badass parts.
