I got around to watching Season 2 & 3 on Netflix while I was sick - and damn did the 3rd Season suck. The whole storyline & reptile skin "rash" with Dr. Suresh was so retarded (why the fuck did he call it a rash, his body cracking open like gaping slashes and those scales looked like embedded rocks..rash??). Not to mention that main reason why it sucked - the whole thing seemed uncomfortably similar to "The Fly". A very shitty "The Fly" no less, but seriously, it felt like fucking lazy writing and entirely ripping off that story. Speedy girl was lame as well.

Why the hell would they think they needed "better talent" from the first year when it was a run away fucking hit? Fucking idiots.

Mohinder's skin deal was just stupid ass retarded. Fans hated it. The best part of season 3 was Elle (Kristen Bell.) And, I liked Sylar's conflict, though feel they took the cheap road out in the end.

I grew to like speedster. She has some good moments toward the end (again when old writers were brought back.) They're trying to fix what they really fucked up.

I think Elle and Sylar were the best part of Season 3, but they really did take the easy way out of that. The way it ended made you feel cheated for being engaged in their storyline at all. I don't expect happily ever after for those two characters, nor did I want that, but the sudden switcheroo seemed just a convenient way to end something they didn't know how to finish or where to go with it.

Exactly. I'm bummed that Elle is gone. I was getting so sick of Claire there for a while. Every episode she was NOT in was a better episode. The whole "OMG I like totally hate my dad because he does MEAN THINGS" was getting really fucking old. Get over it. Noah does what he has to, beyotch. Wahh wahh wahh.

Thankfully, they got her back on track.

Now, Hiro needs his powers back and the jury is still out on whether or not Peter has all of his as well, or just Nathan's and fireman's.

I think what really sucked was canceling the Season 2 "Exodus" story arc on the Shanti virus (due to the writer's strike during that Season)...that was actually an interesting (and less foofy) story arc.

The "Exodus" story arc, which was originally designed to be a story arc reflecting the effects of the release of strain 138 of the Shanti virus, was canceled. Scenes from the volume two finale "Powerless", were reshot to reflect the cancellation of the "Exodus" volume, and to tie-up all the loose plot storylines of "Generations
