Breezey the one! [[ Please read ]]

I don't even know where to start, really. Hrm.

A large majority of the people who posted in this thread need to grow up, to be blunt.

That goes, first of all, to Breezy for this reason. When I read your initial post I could understand your intentions for having posted it. It sounded sincere and I believe that it was written with the best of intentions. You were flamed but it was something you should have expected. I don't think making threats and trying to fight the whole Brell community was the answer... In fact, it increased your problems exponentialy.

Everyone else. I respect almost every single one of you. I am mainly a spectator on the rant boards these days. I keep a low profile and don't speak up often. But I generally read what all of you write and I must be honest and tell you that I have lost a signifigant amount of respect for many of you after reading this thread.

It is the Rant boards - I am aware of this. It may be a huge mistake to post anything on this board with even a hint of sympathy - not to mention sympathy for someone who is being flamed as badly as Breezy is.

Some of you, however, really are just hawks. I see Breezy in the spotlight - true, she put herself there and really didn't try to get out of this spotlight, she messed up very (emphasis on 'very') badly. But some of you people need to cut her some slack. Try to be semi-reasonable.

To those people who are basing their flames purely on what they have heard from other people, I must say Shame on you. Though.. .I can understand how easy it would be to judge someone - Breezy - for what they say - namely how Breezy has responded to this thread. Very bad form on her part. But we are all human and we all make mistakes in reality and in this game we play - some of the worst mistakes people make (It's not just me, is it?) are made out of desperation - made in a hurry without considering the alternatives. Those who flamed Breezy because they heard she does not play her class well - I think you should at least give her a chance in game before you judge her.

As for the whole E-Bay situation, it happens. People E-Bay. My real life friend just sold a 65 Necromancer on Brell not too far back and I was very upset with him because I don't agree with putting a child in the driver's seat of an 18-Wheeler when there are other people on the road, so to speak. I don't like E-Bay in general. But I would Never judge someone before I have a reason to judge - and I Never take anyone elses word for it. The person who bought my friend's Necromancer was doing fine the last time I checked. I don't hate the guy because he bought this character, if he can play this class well - let him have at it.

I don't know how well Breezy plays her class. I hear people saying she plays poorly. I would have to group with her myself to be sure of it. I do know, however, that people have bad days. And I know how this group (Brell Rant Community) can work. A person who messes up once might recieve an unwarranted ammount of flaming. I'm not saying this is the case with Breezy because I completely disagree with the way she has handled the entire situation.

I have been a bit (very) sidetracked in this post and I'm hedging around my main point, which is this, I think:

You all think that Breezy is acting immature, both in game and on the boards. So do I (My judgement is limited only to this particular thread right now because it's all that I've heard about Breezy). I think there is a much more reasonable and adult way of handling this entire situation but I really do not think it will be considered by the majority of the posters here because, let's face it, alot of us like to argue. It's why we have these boards. The way that she has conducted herself on these boards is not applaudable (Basically an invitation to flame which everyone took.)- nor is the way that you all have taken this bait and swarmed her.

I don't know. I'll probably catch some heat for trying to be sympathetic towards Breezy. I just think that everyone on this board - Breezy and most everyone else - needs to take a step back and think about how you are all acting. Then again - why do that? This IS the Rant Boards, after all.. But I had no idea that the Brell Rants message board was a place to completely forget all reasoning and fair judgement. Whether you think her case even worthy of being reasonable - or even if you think that being reasonable is giving her exactly what she has gotten in this thread - just listen to her without flaming her to death.

Someone with seemingly good intentions should be given an opportunity to prove themselves. Though, as mentioned, Breezy might have blown that chance by acting the way she did in this thread. But, why not act adult about it and stop flaming her - give her a chance in game to clean up her act.

Maybe I'm too trusting. Maybe I give people too much credit. Or maybe I am just ignorant to the entire situation. You can't ever really know who a person truly is - or who they are trying to be - if you never give them a chance, or refuse to give them a second chance if they make a mistake the first time.

I guess my 'summary' of my post didn't really help much because my point is still slightly foggy to me. But I hope that some of the more intelligent persons on the rant boards will be able to understand my point in posting this.

And if anyone wants to flame me for what I've said - you've always got the right to do so here, and you know it. Though, I don't believe sympathy for one should warrant any harsh feelings, whether you credit my sympathetic attitude to ignorance or a failure to comprehend the purpose of the Rant Boards, maybe both. I would disagree though.

First of all I want to thank you all for you tells in game and also PM's . I really am not a bad person at all. I only met Apocnec once, and from that 1 time I am a bad player thats a joke. To all you other people who i dont even know, get a life.

This post did get side tracked a little, but you know what, not anymore. I am better then you so i am going to stop acting like a frekn baby and get on with my playing.

Things you dont know:

I came from Tarew Marr, for a level 1 - 62 DE chanter with epic. I have been playing EQ since 1999 and some of beta..

I took over breezey over 1 year ago because the people on brell were much nice and less bitchy. (brell / tarew) some of the first servers to open. I got breezey at level 65 and she had only 22 aa's . Since then i have worked on her , Joined some of the best guilds on the server. Now with just over 200 aa's I am really starting to have some fun ie lighting reflexes.. YAY!

The Breezey Version 2.0 LOL (thats a post from someone who did get trained by breezey, but a thing you dont know of , I used to let me rl friend play her, but once that post happened no one plays her anymore)

But really, thats none of your buseness just wanted to say this for FYI......

No one did come to teh Arena I did figure no one would show :/ .

Last thing, I am glad i am still in the spot light !!!! YAY lets see how long i stay here, I do how you all who hate me get over it , i slipped up.... gzz shoot me !

1) Comparing Breezy to Jesus is a bit far fetched, when Breezy stakes herself to a cross in the name of humanity maybe you can play the "Jesus Card", but until then I am waiting for her to turn water into wine. (Jesus was a 255 GM Brewer)

2) Not sure if you saw who started this post, but it was your bud Breezy, so it is a little hard to mind our own business when she is airing her dirty laundry in our faces. (Stinks of ebay btw)

BTW.. Breezey has ran from me in the arena too. I was letting a level 40s duel my pet when out of nowhere she mezzed me and the warrior on my pet. =x As soon as her mez dropped I went to whoop that ass where she promptly ran out of the arena and hid behind the lil gates. Harm Touch sucks doesn't it?

Because I have better things to do with my time than measure my EPenis against a person with little or no self control. I took that time to go to Chardok and help get a Warrior, two Clerics, and an Enchanter their epic pieces, rather than challenge people to pointless duels, train them, KS them, or get them killed in groups.

Why should we give Breezey a chance when she's the one that left herself open for being flamed? Honestly, if your gonna be dumb enough to come to the rant boards and admit that your ebayed and you ks'd.....then umm...you get what you deseerve. Calling the rest of us immature, etc. doesn't make any sense.....she started this so let her get the attention she apparently wants cause its not like she's shutting up and trying to let this go away...and honestly, how do you really expect anyone to go running to the arena to fight you? You can't play your class and yea I know that. I have given her a chance and she didn't know what she was doing when we were in PoV killing the named in Inner. So yea I don't like her and won't group with her again if I can help it. If she wants any respect, go to another server or better yet, delete so we have one less idiot to deal with.

Breezy - it was alot easier to lean towards being sympathetic for you after having only read your initial post.

If you're going to come here and try to clean your name up - isn't that what you were trying to do? - then make your point and go about your business. Being flamed after having posted was only to be expected, but the way that you have responded is childish and not an effective means for accomplishing such a goal.

You started out by making an understandable attempt to clear your own name up some. I respect that and I was dissapointed by the way that the community responded until I saw your response to these flames and realized

If you're just going to sit here and literally set yourself up to be abused andfurther tarnish your reputation then what is the point of me trying to help you?

Maybe I misunderstood when you made your inital post, Breezy. It looked like you had the best of intentions - now you're just making it impossible to try and help you because you're doing more damage to your own reputation than everyone else combined.

I don't understand why you even come to these rant boards - and I don't say that in a mean way. But you know that the people here won't give you a chance and if you really want to help your reputation, just leave the boards, work on your reputation in game. Stop giving people reasons to dislike you, both in game and on the rant boards. On the boards it will be much easier to do - simply stop posting.

And I'm not even going to bother rereading this post to check for typos because it's not worth my time.

I really do not understand why this guy ( and yes he is a guy because we talked to him on the phone) wants to lie about when Breezey was purchased. She was sold in late Feb.....not even a year ago.

this guy was not in my old guild when I sold the character, my husband and myself even joined another guild ( family guild of low levels) after our long term guild broke up.

I very much regret that I sold Breezey, I really did not want to do it, but my husband had some influence on that. BUT rest assured Brell that what comes around goes around...and we have recieved our punishement for selling our toons.

My husband made the mistake of e mailing this person from work...he works as an engineer for HP. So this asshole looses his password after about four months after the sale. He emails my husband and says " if you dont call sony and get my password, I will call your boss at HP and tell him you are commiting internet fraud... then I will file in small claims court against you and make you come to ( california I believe it was) to defend yourself....I will make your life HELL.

so against my advice my husband does whatever to get the Idiots password back for him, and then tells him to leave us alone.

Breezey had 24 AA's when I sold her, I was not much of an exp person so I was behind on the points.

Like I said, If I had it to do over again I would have never sold my Char. but hinde sight is 20/20 so they say.

I would like to apologize once again, if I could do it over again...../sigh

Oh and a note to the guy who bought my account..I have roughly 20 RL family members that play eq, and 50+ RL friends ( alot in the "uber" guilds) so stop trying to say that you are me please! They know you are full of shit.

I can Understand you husband trying to protect his job ... but you could get your account back if you wanted to and it would be yours..... If you have all the orginal billing info ...(If i'm not mistaken) this person should have known when they purchased a character they were going against SOE's policies and that is why the threat ... If I were your hubby hun I would go to my boss and let him know I made the mistake of e-mailing someone from my work addy and they are now harrassing me through e-mails with threats .. and see if you can get his e-mail addy changed ... So therefore if this person loses that password again and such they're shit out of luck........
