To all those former EoD members, look back at what we accomplished and be proud. EoD was conceived as a guild in the first part of December, a few weeks after the Legion of Heroes was disbanded. We were officially a guild on January 1st, 2003 and started with 10 or 11 members. What a ride it was. EoD gave most everyone that came to our door a chance, most took the opportunity to succeed, a few failed. But, everyone was given a chance.
Our recruiting officers worked overtime to bring us dedicated members and our growth was quite amazing. With in a few weeks we were in NToV and taking down the other Velious mobs in rapid succession. We used the "Mob Tiers" list as a guide to track our progress. Many PoP mobs fell to our swords as well. It took us just 4 months of recruiting, re-equiping and rebuilding to take the Emperor of Ssra down, after 3 attempts and without outside help. We then killed him twice again that same week, thanks to numerous updates.
What were we trying to creat? We were trying to build a competitive guild that would progress through all the challenges of Norrath. Our guild had as a goal to gain/earn the respect of the other guilds and players of Norrath. Our code of conduct was based specifically on mutual respect, honor and fairness to everyone.
After we killed the Emperor, EoD started to fall apart. What happened? I think it was a combination of numerous things. We as a guild worked tirelessly for 4 months to get keyed for the Emperor of Ssra and we had actually beat out another guild who had been working on keys much longer then we had. We had met our goal and for many of us we were simply burned out. There was intense rivalry from a couple other guilds over mobs that just caused a tremondous amount of strif within EoD. Because we gave everyone a chance, we recruited a few players with dubious reputations, which in the long run was more a problem then we had expected. But, it was our hope we could encourage the best out of everyone, including these few.
Basically it was:
1. Burnout and disillsionment of a few key players.
2. The constant strife from a few other guilds and individuals ourside EoD.
3. Lack of clear goals after the Emperor was killed.
4. The petty complaining and bickering within the guild.
5. And finally, a few personalities who impacted very negatively within
the guild.
It's history now, but I will always look back in pride at our accomplishments in so short a time period and with fond memories of the people. It was a great time.

I miss EoD!!!
Ever since they disbanded it became harder to spot the asshats on the server. There may have been a few decent people in EoD, Sheebla might have been one of them, I dont know her. Speaking of that, is there a new flag under peoples name that can help identify them as such?
I was in EoD Knott and your post is a slap in the face.So I guess my meaning by saying you showed your true colors is after grouping with you and haveing you confide in me about your up and comeing proposal of marrage and raiding with you as well to have you post about my old guild with whom I don't recall haveing any problem with when they were together makes your color brown.Your full of what makes the grass grow green.

I was told your sig pic is of Xilanthanax, and he don't want you to use it. Lose it.
The point of this whole thread was Falhiem's joke.
You and he are both wrong.
The reson EoD broke up in the end was the majority of our raid and class team leaders went to Enshadowed. Now you'll find them in Sojo,Ensh,Watchers, even SR or have moved on to other servers or games theres even some who don't have as much time to play so they don't guild. Pretty much the same as any guild that breaks up.To tell the truth I still laugh at how bad Ensh used to put EoD down and now they have so many in there. Was a good move on thier part takeing out the compition anf then absorbing them. Now here they are in PoT 2nd best on the server and they can thank former EoD members for helping to get them there.
/Salute all former EoD your still kicking EQ ass no matter where you go you can always remember your accomplishments when you wore the Errents of Deorc lable.
