. I don't post on this board much because I don't have much to rant about. I don't need to feel appreciated by the masses of Brell to get my kicks in EQ. I log on to have fun and talk to friends, if I get in a group with people like you, I log off EQ because it stops being fun. Some people know me well, others (like you) don't see me around because I keep a low profile. I do appreciate the insult tho, keeping me in check of my "faction" with you.

Catchisif is quite an abled necro who, like me, carries grudges to great lengths. I find this read amusing until he mentions that people carry grudges

hehehe, as he should know the two of us often shouldnt be in the same zone. Then again going afk under water was a funny one this weekend wasn't it C?

Anyhow the detail in Catchisif's story is way more plausible if you can imagine Cat online as Elderealms. Assume for an instance that Cat logs Elderealms on, and does his thing. Now Cat can defend Elder all he wants, making him look "ok" and Elder none the worse for his already interesting rep. The detail to what "actually" happened are narrated in the first person. Seems odd to be so detailed in every step, Cat isnt known for rational behaviour, but expletus members are known for 2-3-4 boxing raids.

As for Elderealms' ability... if I need to rep me as an enchanter I would never ask my group to take a wannabe like Elderealms. That is just being irresponsible to Brell Serilis as a server.

despite what some people may think, ie. roadkill, im actually prety easy to get along with. i joke around alot and at times have a rather vulgar vocabulary, but im also the first person to jump up and volunteer if someone needs help. im also a pesamist, and do not believe in the "people change" thing... i do however believe that peoples perception of others change. case in point elderealms and catchisif.

when i first met elder, i did not like him. he was trying to KS lodi.... i asked him to c3 and haste my group... thought it was kind of funny /shrug. that was a long time ago. perhapse it was my perception that was the problem. im not saying elder is a perfect angel by any means, but i percieved him to be a cock because he was after the same mob i was. time went by, and i ended up grouping with him. at first i was all " christ its elder...", but gradually i went to "atleast it isnt adeptus..." and eventually "you know, hes really not too bad". now i like elder. has he changed, or has it simply been perception?

the same goes for catchisif. i dont remember exactly how i met him, but hes a necro so he was probably doing something dickhead-ish

. but once i actually talked to him instead of just basing my opinion on what ive heard/read, i liked him.

i think its unfair to judge a person based upon one side of the story. granted it happens all the time, and you cant blame anyone for being weary of a_ranted_person_594 based on what they read or hear, but how do you know that what you read/heard was acurate?

I don't know about you guys, but when you are kiting a mob or running around so your pet can finally get taunt, do you have time to call camp for EVERY OOC that is called? I didn't think so. If an OOC is called and someone automatically thinks they have that specific camp just because the person that has the camp is a lil busy trying not to get killed and all the sudden see someone already there, who is wrong? The group pulling to create more confusion or the origianal puller pulling more from HIS camp? Its hard to keep concentration on the mobs you are killing when someone comes and tries to take over. As I see it, Elder was just pulling more for his camp and got mad at Borolo for trying to take his camp and challenged him to a duel before finally leaving. Admit it, if you had the power to take off direcharm and invis yourself to get the other group aggro, you would do the same if someone pissed you off (I admit it, I WOULD).

I know both parties and both are in the wrong and need to make up their differences. Elderealms is actually a nice guy if you get to know him and one of the best enchanters I know, so is Borolo. Elderealms knows how to keep a group on their toes by pulling and having the next mob waiting just to be killed. I have gained an AA per hour by grouping with Elderealms because of that. He knows his class and is definitely NOT ebayed. Piss him off though, and you will find that he has consequences for everything and you are there to pay for them.

I have known Borolo and Harasu for awhile too and know that they are very good people to talk to and play with. Very nice couple. Very sweet individuals. I am sorry that Elder's wrath came upon them

And being that this is a rant about Elderealms, why is some asshat bringing in what other people in Expletus are doing (i.e. Neurott)? This is the Elderant, not Neurant...thanks you. Keep with the subject of an individual and not a group. Expletus is the most well defined guild I have ever been in. This guild has helped me actually not to quit EQ, bringing me to light the fun things you can do and fun places you can go. Not just hunting for exp or going to the same places over and over again. We do AWESOME things with a small amount of people and yes, we do have some people that like to cuss and be mean to people that are mean to them. Its called revenge. People do it. I do it. Train me on purpose or tell me to move away from my camp after being here for an hour or so. There will be an Amaliarant on the board and I will just /shrug it off. I just know that if people are not man or woman enough to take it and stride, they post on THIS board. If he pissed you off that bad, just take revenge or /tell Elderealms You are such a F*cking dickwad! .....talk to him about it and if you have him on ignore, then you are too pussy to talk to him yourself, so you have to go on a board that will have 100 or so posts from different people. Only pussies rant about an incident. Real people get even or apologize about their foolishness.
