Under the Dome

Man... I had such high hope for this show. The book was good. Why did they have to completely fuck it up with stupid shit?

I don't hate it.

It's better than Big Brother 27.

I've been watching it but since I'm totally enthralled with my book, I've missed the last few episodes, so I'm behind. I like it...I didn't read the book, but it's Stephen King, a lot of his shit is kind of good story-wise, but cheesy cliche' characters.

Yeah, I'm more interested in the kids/teens than anything else (which is weird because usually the teens annoy the EFF out of me).

And I think the guy who plays Junior is creepy. In a good way.

That is funny about this series - I'm actually more interested in the teens, especially creepy Junior. Usually they are whiny-angsty-romance filler for shows.

I didn't read King's story this is based on, and I didn't see the show. I just saw the link minute offered...I'm going to guess how they end this show based on how King wraps up some of his other stories.

A pair of dying retarded children activate their "up to this point" unknown powers, and sacrifice themselves to reveal, and kill the terrifying alien overlord. Thus freeing everyone, and exposing them to the plague that killed off the rest of the world.

*Update, I took a look at the Synopsis of the book at - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Under_the_Dome
Damn, I don't think I did too bad. In fact other than the retarded children part I think I did better. For all the good stories he has written I see more, and more a theme best seen in "Dreamcatcher" I actually paid to see that horrid movie.

If you can get past Barbie in Fight Club, you'll be okay, Harlowe. It's Lee Adama/Starbuck bad.

Well nice middle finger to the audience with the season finale. Guess I have to read the book, because I'm not waiting for Summer 2014 to see what the heck is going on.
