Welp check for something else bro. If it works good for everyone else, but not you, it's not the application. How many extensions are you running?

Open Chrome & go to Google.com then Ctrl+Alt+Del & see how many sessions of "Chrome" you have running. Good chance there's shit running in the background that you don't know about using up your system resources.

My guess is you just recently updated your Nvidia drivers. Well if you did, roll back to the last WHQL certified driver.

I made the switch to Chrome years ago for personal browsing use. It's fine for me, maybe clear history and all that too?

It looks like FireFox is actually beating out Chrome in some recent testing anyway.. I doubt I'll be switching back though.
