Her dad HAS to be dark. I mean, her mom was being banged while imprisoned by the dark side. Reminds me of creepy lore about slasher pic murderers - wasn't Freddy Krueger the product of a nun being gang-banged in a lunatic asylum over the weekend?

I can't wait to find out who it is, but I have this feeling that it's going to drag out though. Maybe an end S3 thing or a S4 focus.

10 Book Series So Addictive, You Never Want Them To End

Mainly because:

4) Seanan McGuire's October Daye novels

Like the Felix Castor books and many other series, McGuire's urban fantasy series combines some pulpy detective tropes with fantasy elements — but these are even more crammed with fantasy goodness, including fairy kingdoms all over the San Francisco Bay Area and the mysterious King of Cats. The worldbuilding in this series is pretty fantastic, and we've lost count of how many of our friends have raved about the fact that it actually gets better and better after the first couple books. If you've been obsessively watching Lost Girl and need something to tide you over until the next season, this series about a half-fae detective in the dark city might just do the trick.

As far as the show goes, I think it's pretty bad. Having said that, I've watched every episode since the first one aired in the US. Every week I wonder why the hell I'm watching it and every week I come back for more.

Yep! I'm there. Going to watch the latest one tonight. Dyson is being far too patient, imho.

Lauren is starting to annoy me. She has man-hands, too.

I don't like Lauren she reminds me of over-attached girlfriend meme...except she has this mega-yearning creepiness expression all the time.

She reminds me of Keira Knightly too which is kind of a turn-off for me too.

Every episode of those two together, I dislike Lauren more - even though their sex scenes can be pretty steamy (as long as I don't have to see Lauren's whiny puppydog face), they have nothing on the ones with Dyson. It's similar to the difference between brooding, smarmy Stefan or hot-as-hell badboy Damon.

If she's going to hook up with a chick, I'd rather see her hook up with that dark fae cop Tamsin. She's at least hot and kicks ass. I think I just like the bad boys/girls better than the smarmy ones. Like I'm weirdly attracted to Vex.

I would have liked to see Kenzi and Vex hook up. =)

Hey, do you watch Merlin at all? I can't remember if we've discussed that one. Lots of hot guys there too.

I use to watch that! Lots of hot guys! I need to rewatch the first few seasons of Merlin because it's been a good year or two since I've watched that show and I don't really remember where we left off other than Morgana and Morgause were up to no good in season 3, but I didn't see that entire season.

You know, even though I knew it was going to happen, I was bummed to see Morgana go bad. Also she's not a great actress, so she didn't handle the transition well. She LOOKS perfect for the part and is pretty gorgeous in general, but her acting is sooo weak.

Merlin is so much fun. It's had some great stories since season 3 and this is the last season (season 5). Creepy Mordred is all grown up and kind of hot now (in a weird way), but you know he's a bad seed.

I think what I liked about Merlin was that they "went there" on so much stuff. Here's a dragon. Let's give that shit to Merlin. Yeah! Let's have the dragon come in sometimes and just tear everything up, maybe set some stuff on fire too. And old Merlin (if you've seen any episodes with him) is just so LOL I could pee.

Last night's ep of Lost Girl was, well, good in some ways. I feel bad for Kenzi and her Norn junk! Still no idea what it is.

I loved Kenzi kicking ass on the piggers!! I wish she would have kept that damn shillelagh! Ksenia Solo practiced ballet for a long time and you really can see that in her moves.

Oh boy, Lauren and Bo having a *tender* "I love you, here's my bounderies" moment at the end (zzzz). They can't keep Lauren and Bo happy homemakers forever, shows get boring when things are too sweet, predictable and wrapped up, so here's to hoping for some Dark-Bo issues to blow that snoozefest up.

I really hope Vex comes back and keeps things interesting and they don't do something lame with him.

Yeah, Lauren and Bo are so boring. They had more heat when they weren't together. Definitely one of those deals where putting them in a relationship totally borked the chemistry up.

Yeah, Vex is such a wildcard and I like him that way. I don't want him to be a complete asshole, but I don't want him to go all "light" as well.

I know, she's now grown on me completely! This last episode, she was fuckin' awesome. Lauren is still annoying the shit out of me. She's such a dud, I don't see why she has so many crazyass fans. They are bordering lunatic (they call themselves Doccubus).

They will seriously flip their shit when they break those two up.

Wow, okay. That was an eye-opener. I guess if you want to feel loved on Facebook, you go post about Bo and Lauren (or Bo and Dyson) then get 2000 replies from angry lesbians and lesbian-haters. These people are nuts! And here I thought Xena subtexters were cray-cray. I hope the show doesn't cater too much to the extremists here, because Bo totally needs to be with Dyson. Unfortunately, these people will set cars on fire and riot if something ever happens to Lauren.

I hope they keep Tamzin in this weird in-between place (similar to Vex). I have this feeling that Bo and Tamzin are sisters. I don't know why. Maybe it has something to do with how Tamzin "tasted" to Bo.

The "Dawning" seems an interesting premise, too.

This season was pretty crappy and not cohesive at all. It's like an entirely different writer took over...one who's only experience with sci-fi fantasy writing was fan-fiction.

My least favorite characters S4 were actually Bo and Trick followed closely by the lame Druid and that Rayner-train-dude.

Kenzi was completely lacking her usual wit and eclectic energy
Dyson was boring
even Vex was boring

Basically, Lauren and Tamsin were the only redeeming characters this season.
