Plinkett Reviews

Post by Ddrak »

Anyone else enjoy these? Aside from the drunk act, the actual content of the reviews is pretty amazing in terms of critique of the film's pacing, story and rationale. Taught me a lot about what was actually lacking in some movies - I knew they were bad but couldn't actually explain it.

e.g. Star Wars Ep 1:

Warning: Long (70 minutes of critique).

Thanks for linking this by the way, I'm not through the whole thing yet, but it's pretty cool!

Watched this a couple days ago...omg! That had to be one of the best movie reviews I've ever seen. It covered everything, in detail, and had actual, pertinent comparisons from the other movies for specific things instead of the usual 'Empire is better than Episode I because of <random, unrelated event>'.
I'd like to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my ass.

His other reviews are awesome too. I'm slowly working through them.
