Excellent read. Fair and bal;anced, with some good and deep insight into the pension mess many states are grappling with. He spends very little time assigning blame for the situation, but deals with the hard realities of what must happen in pension reform to save pensions for government workers. The approach is from a California-based perspective, but much of it applies to the pension reform requirements across the nation. I found little to argue with in the article.
