No one, to my memory. Except bots, of course. I tend to agree the poster is a former active member of the board. Not sure who though. There is something Rsakian in the poster's grammar and sentence creation though. Although the thin skin evident in the posts could be either Jecks or Rsak.

Harlowe, you know that I have already told you that I have lurked for a long time on these boards. I do not know where you have gotten the idea that I have never played EQ. I do not think I was asked.

Embar, my skin is quite thick, I assure you. I have given no indication otherwise. Perhaps you have misinterpreted the tone of my missives?

Fallakin, I am not the person you indicated but I am not happy with either party. I would tend to be very socially progressive and I hesitate to say fiscally conservative because while I would cut the deficit I would tend to also raise revenue streams and I would apply cuts differently than a typical republican.

I hope this satisfies. I am neither Jecks nor Rsak though I knew of both from the board and one from another game.

Some of the stuff you've said actually made me think about things, which I like, but the way you type it out makes me second guess even the things I do agree with you about because it's in such a douchey overtone. Guess the unions don't like the Hope and Change being offerred up either. Looks like they are changing the way they fund "Change". Personally, I think this is more grandstanding than actual substance. The unions know that they have to support Dems financially, and hold thier noses doing it, because the alternative is worse. This is probably nothing more than chest thumping and positioning to extract from Dems more legislation that preserves their dysfunctional and outdated organizations.

But we'll see how it goes. I hope I'm wrong and the unions actually DO pul a good portion of financial support from Dem candidates. I wouldn't put it past them. They aren't known for dealing with reality, and have preferred to take 100% of nothing than 70% of something on quite a few occassions.
