Fort Hood Memorial

Post by Embar Angylwrath »

The worst massacre on an American military base, with 13 victims and 54 military and civilian honorees and a memorial.

No Obama, no Biden, no Sec. Def.
Correction Mr. President, I DID build this, and please give Lurker a hug, we wouldn't want to damage his self-esteem.

It's disgusting that you are trying to politicize this event. It's pretty obvious you don't care about the victims of the massacre other than as a weapon to use against Obama. You should be ashamed.

You have no idea what I feel or don't feel about the event. It's disgusting of you to paint my feelings as a political issue. You are guilty of what you accuse me to be.

And you haven't shared your feelings on this. Do you think this event merited an appearance from the President or Vice-President? Yes or no.

No, I don't think the President or Vice-President need to go to Fort Hood every year.

As for you not really giving a shit about the massacre other than as a weapon to attack Obama, I think your original post speaks for itself.

Who said "every year" except you?

This event was singular. Unique. Do you get that Lurker? It was the first anniversary of the massacre and the unveiling of the monument. Tell nme you understand the difference of a unique event and an "every year" occasion. To me, this is very telling about you.

You seem to care more about whether Obama went to the memorial than you do about the memorial itself?

And like I said, your original post speaks for itself. Embar... always on the hunt for material to attack the Obama Administration. It's quite comical.

It would be dumb for Obama to go given he's on the other side of the world at the moment, so that is actually a silly criticism. No clue about Biden et. al. though.

I wonder what the fascination of commemorating failure is. Would there be a bigger or smaller memorial if the nutjob had been stopped? What makes those soldiers more or less special than any other ones?
