Re: HTC Evo
I know a few people that just got one as well and are raving about it. I still think it's funny that it has a kickstand. Android ftw!

Droid Shadow is going to kick ass. I will probably move to it from my current Droid if 4G is available in my area when it comes out.

Correction Mr. President, I DID build this, and please give Lurker a hug, we wouldn't want to damage his self-esteem.

Yes - that other one was pretty retarded. I love how their points were "yeah it's better, but you aren't going to use it." And "google's shitty programming" .... really?Minute wrote:Evo wins @ comedy videos too

Re: HTC Evo
I'm thinking about trying to get Sprint to let me trade my Moment for an Evo.. but I think I'd miss a real keyboard too much. Though, swype is pretty sweet and may make up for it...

Re: HTC Evo
I have to say, this is by far the best device I've bought in a long time. Truth

Re: HTC Evo
My android has a real keyboard as well but I recently installed (and am getting used to) the "ShapeWriter" keyboard app which is a better working version of Swype. (or at least that's what a co-worker was saying) It took a couple days of texting/emailing to get used to it but now I use it more than my real keyboard. Way fast!xilly wrote:I'm thinking about trying to get Sprint to let me trade my Moment for an Evo.. but I think I'd miss a real keyboard too much. Re: HTC Evo
It does look great... But, I'm not switching back to Verizon (and going back to 180+ per month phone bill) when I can stay with Sprint and get better service, more minutes, and pay ~60 less.Kulaf wrote:http://phones.verizonwireless.com/droid/x/

Re: HTC Evo
What the hell were you paying for? Unlimited talk and text is 90 bucks and unlimited data is 30, so at most you should be paying 120 before taxes/fees.

Re: HTC Evo
Personally I love my iPhone 4.
And that "death grip" stuff is just a load of crap, I got mine today and have tested it thoroughly. Some tests with the "death grip" on it were actually faster.

Re: HTC Evo
Two lines. One for me and one for my wife. 550 shared minutes, unlimited Data on both lines, 1000 txt/pix, ringback tones (.99 each line). Shit was 179.99 after my 20% discount. I was getting fucking raped on Verizon.Kulaf wrote:What the hell were you paying for? On Sprint, I get two lines with 1200 shared minutes, unlimited data, unlimited txt/pix, sprint nav/sprint tv/nfl/nascar/other bullshit I don't use for 109.99 after my 20% discount.
