possessed mouse!

Post by calleagh »

ok you guys know about the problems i've had with drivers, viruses, etc. this problem has been ongoing for a long time, so long that i had same problem on old computer.

my mouse is possessed. it's hard to describe but for instance, when i arrow back on a browser sometimes it arrows back several pages from 1 click. if i play solitaire it picks up multiple cards even in 1 card mode. my old computer had same problem about the last year of it's life. this computer (bought in feb 08) has been doing it almost since i bought it. i've tried different mouses, both wireless and usb enabled. i tried to upgrade the drivers only to be told i already had the latest ones. anyone ever have this problem before and been able to solve it? i'm thinking........exorcism.

Check your mouse sensitivity settings in the control panel.
