How To Train Your Dragon

Post by Taxious »

This movie has a 97% on RT so I figured I'd check it out. I saw it last night in 3D with a friend and was pretty impressed. I was worried it was going to be too "kidy" for my tastes (they could have gone with a better name) but the theater turned out to be mostly adults with just a few kids.

Anyway, the movie itself was great. The animation was amazing, the story was fun, I would recommend seeing it!

I keep hearing it's good. All the other animators loved it, so it's nice to know any training didn't get in the way of enjoying it. Sooo need to see it soon.

I'm going to go see it tonight, will report back afterwards. First 3D movie I've seen since UP.

Alright. Saw it. The animation is amazing, especially the dragon flights. The movie itself is full of little chuckle moments, but nothing that's hilarious. The first 20-30 mins are kinda boring until the story really starts to pick up, but then after that, it's a lot more fun to watch. Overall, I enjoyed it and would recommend it more-so than most other recent movies aimed at kids.

do 3D glasses still give you a killer headache or have they "improved" it?

I thought it was a really cute movie. The 3D was well done and the glasses are much better.

It was good. It's not going to win any awards for originality but it was good.
