Zombieland
Go see it. Maybe the best movie I've seen this year. Seriously awesome.

You're nuts Kulaf. That movie was amazing from the starting super slow mo scenes to the final caddie shack quote. It actually was better than I expected it to be. From the trailer I thought it was just going to be a violence film of funny zombie killings, which it had, but the whole rules thing sort of had a Hitchhikers Guide feel & even the goofy love story was ok. Just an all in all fun movie.

Not saying it wasn't fun. I think I laughed twice during the film. It was an ok flick but not great. I laughed a lot more at Shaun of the Dead than I did at this movie.

Zombieland > Shaun IMO.
And I'm nuts for anything British too, so I'm having a hard time saying that.

Didn't your mama ever tell you not to tango with a carrot?

Saw it last night... loved it. Fuckin' hilarious, and Woody Harelson was awesome.
Correction Mr. President, I DID build this, and please give Lurker a hug, we wouldn't want to damage his self-esteem.

I'm thinking of being him for this Halloween party coming up. Might work too since my buddy is going to be a zombie (The local fun shop does him up VERY realistic every year). Lets just hope I'm not as much of a method actor as him or I might smash his face in with a banjo.

I loved the clown face smash the best. I hate clowns too.

My roommate has an irrational fear of clowns. I'm now of the impression this movie has given him an irrational fear of public restrooms.

Re: Zombieland
Until the end, there were more Humans than Zombies. There were very few zombies, but there was a conversation about Hannah Montana. Bill Murray ftw, but the rest of the movie was just fuckin stupid.

I finally saw this the other day and absolutely loved it. I've already watched it 5 times actually (AKA it's been on in the background while I play vid games). There were a few references towards my generation (sunscreen, ghostbusters) that made me smile.

Can you call movies that were released before you were born "your generation"?Taxious wrote:I finally saw this the other day and absolutely loved it. I would say so because my friends and I grew up watching it. Meh~xilly wrote:Can you call movies that were released before you were born "your generation"?
