Finally saw this, in 3D. Visually, it's amazing. Otherwise, it's nothing particularly special. We've seen this same story in Fern Gulley, Dances With Wolves, Pocahontas, etc. Not a bad story by any means, in fact one of the better tellings of this particular stock theme, but generally speaking we've seen it before.

Finally saw this myself as well and I agree with Jarochai completely. It got a resounding 'meh' out of me. Not only was the story average, but it was painfully predictable, too. Some of the acting was just fuckin' miserable too. Rodriguez and the main bad guy were just a walking book of cliche's. The one bonus is that Rodriguez actually delivered her cliche with some decency, the other guy just fuckin' sucked. A lot of the characters in this movie had the depth of a puddle. At least with Dances with Wolves, Last Samurai, or any other omgwalkingintheirshoes~ movie they had decent actors.

I was really unimpressed with the movie. Poor acting, average plot, common theme, phenomenal effects. Gets a 6/10 out of me. I'm just glad I didn't pay for it. Fuck you James Cameron. Fuck you.
