I liked it, it was light and charming, but the characters were a bit flat and in some spots it dragged a bit. Ellen Page was a much more likable character - awkward, shy teen turns roller derby girl -than she was in Juno.
Juliette Lewis was great, all the roller derby scenes were a lot of fun, but Drew Barrymore's character was probably the least believable to me. It was as if she got stoned and/or drunk and then played herself high the whole film. It felt a bit self-indulgent and "called in", probably because she was directing it as well and as far as the skate scenes go - she did an awesome job.
