Just got it for my PS3. About half way in.
Graphics are, of course, phenomenal, and the section about a third of the way in where it's just towers, barrels, and construction is incredibly faithful to the original in my mind. Controls are a bit different and swinging is not (for me, anyways) the automatic it was in the original. Combat with the big robots is kinda problematical in spots as well, but overall this is a goodie. My only REAL gripe is the irradiated spots on the map (i.e the places that are nearly instadeath if you go there) should be a bit more well defined.
I give it a 7. I haven't tried multplayer yet, and I'm sure I'll suck at it, because my swinging is subpar.
