Re: Religulous
I asked Klast a few questions and you replied.....hostilely I might add.....and didn't provide any answers. So if you want to post just to read your pithy comments on the interwebs.....post elsewhere, or pony up real answers.

Re: Religulous
Hey did you ever go to Old City Cafe near Macalester College? That place was yum. We use to bring back a huge container of chatzilim and their fluffy pitas to Duluth for Christmas each year. When they closed, my family was so bummed we didn't bring it anymore.Klast Brell wrote:I've eaten there 3 times now. It's quite nice in there. Most of the customers are Indian so you know its authentic. Last time I was in there they had a big TV on, showing a cricket match.
I've been trying to find chatzilim for ages now (baba ganoush isn't the same) and can't find it anywhere. I'd try to make it myself, but to get the right flavor it involves scorching the eggplant over an open fire and making homemade mayo.
