Movies

Post by Alluveal »

What have you guys seen lately?

Just finished "3:10 to Yuma" and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sitting down to finally watch "No Country For Old Men," right now.

Movie theaters? Pfft, what are they? Kids kill your movie intake!

Friend of mine recently gave me a copy of '1984' with John Hurt and Richard Burton. Very much in the creepy style of the book.

Other than that, not much that everyone hasn't already probably seen.

I liked Yuma. Then again, I'd watch Christian Bale in anything.

Yuma was awesome. So was No Country For Old Men, though I found the ending a bit . . . umm . . . I don't know. I actually checked to make sure the disk hadn't skipped. I get Tommy Lee's last monologue, but that sick fucker actually got away? I wanted to see Tommy Lee go ape-shit crazy on his ass and track him down, then stick him a woodchipper Fargo style.

On a side note, it was awesome to see the dude who shot Wild Bill in "Deadwood" play Tommy Lee's deputy.

Me too actually. I usually go a couple times a month, but I haven't been since Batman came out.

Saw "Gone Baby Gone" on Starz. Damn, that was a fucked up movie. So fucked up. I'm a huge Dennis LeHane fan and yeah, it's typical of his work.

No, but now that I know it exists I am adding it to my Netflix queue. I haven't seen all of his movies, but I've seen most of em. :P

LOL we watched that not too long ago. I didn't really like no Country For Old Men, I just couldn't really... figure it out. I hated Gone Baby Gone but that'd from a maternal point of view I believe. I just couldn't really stand it =/
