I don't know what to think about this movie. On one hand I hate that they are using the original cast of characters.....but on the other it looks like it is going ot have a ton of action which all of the other Trek movies lacked.

And for just a second I thought that one guy said Cylons.

I can't imagine a better pick for Spock. OMG Sylar?! WIN! And while it does look action packed, I certainly hope it's not "action just for the sake of action." I dunno. Despite some of the horrific retcons I've heard this will employ, it has the potential to be very good. It also has the potential to be another Final Frontier or Nemesis. Could be good, could be crap. I'm dubious, to be honest. But deep down I'm a total closet Trek nerd, so I'll definitely be there for this one.

I'm a fan boy. I'll see it. I'm not getting my hopes up. I know it will never live up to the excitement i felt watching the original. But I was a kid then. Everything was cool. If it sucks I won't be tremendously disappointed, but if it's great I'll be pleased as punch.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing when I saw this trailer. I realize they want eye candy in the film, but he seems a little overboard IMO.
