Is adblock an extension or plugin? That's the only reason I would keep using FF.

Greasemonkey, Foxmarks, Stumble, Roboform, iMacro just to name a few. I actually have about a dozen that I use on the regular.

Adblock Plus / Filterset.G Updater, ieTab (click to switch between Firefox's renderer and IE's renderer on a tab), TabMixPlus (much better tab management), GreaseMonkey (crazy tinkering with pages), FlashGot (better downloading), QuickRestart (for when you need to update a plugin or something without losing tabs), Web Developer (crazy amount of CSS help), Weave (sync bookmarks/cookies/passwords/open tabs etc. across different machines).

I will be happy once I figure out how to move my bookmarks from the far right of my screen, widescreen, back to near center.

Actually, never really played with it much, but looking over it now it seems to have evolved a lot since 3-4 years ago when I looked last. Might help me out with some retarded CSS issues I've been having on another site.

I absolutely love Firebug for CSS stuff. It bugs out every now and then, but it's been pretty stable lately on FF3.

Chrome has officially replaced FF for me on pretty much every Windows comp I use. I loves it! The speed is amazing compared to FF or IE, especially at work when I have a lot of memory intensive programs running. I love that embedded flash in Chrome doesn't chew up a shit ton of memory.

I like that the address bar serves as a google search field. I also just discovered a pretty cool feature of the address bar that lets you search through sites from it. For instance, if I want to look up "page eighted" on urbandictionary, I can just do:
  • alt+d [brings the cursor to the address bar]
  • type in "urb..." [fills the rest in for urbandictionary.com]
  • hit the tab key [means I want to search through U.D. from the address bar]
  • type in "page eighted"
then with one hit of the enter key, it takes me to the search results page of the site.

I still use FF for FireBug when I need to look at any CSS issues. I haven't found anything better/easier than right clicking on an element and going to "inspect element."

Tax, because of your gushing I'm going to download it and try it out. I've been using Google for most of my stuff. Gmail, Reader, iGoogle so why not my browser.

Edit: Well, reading up more on it first.
Every time you open a new tab, you'll see a visual sampling of your most visited sites, most used search engines, and recently bookmarked pages and closed tabs.
Is that really less intense than FF?

lolsyes - try it out! Honestly, it took me a while to settle into it, but now I dread using FF/IE. When you open a new tab (alt+t, or just clicking the "+" sign) it shows you your most visited pages (9 max). I was kinda :? about this at first because of privacy and stuff, but now I use it all the time. It's interesting when you notice how rarely you visit a page outside of those 9.

I also like how the tabbing is set up. FF is pretty fast at opening/closing new tabs (at least compared to IE... good god!) but chrome still blows FF out of the water with its tabbing scheme. I like that you can click and hold a single tab and drag it outside of the main browser to make it's own window (or vice versey to put it back into a group of tabs).

Here are some screenshots, just for ye~

Now if you'll excuse me, I have 1 new email that I have to check. :P

Chrome uses far less system resources than FF or IE. The only thing stopping me from switching is it doesn't support some of the FF extensions I've come to depend on - mainly syncing my bookmarks and passwords between machines.

I'm trying Chrome. It's way slower than FF. :?

Edit: And I see why now. I had Tor and Privoxy set to work on IE and leave FF alone. I guess by default it would work on GC too. Tweaking time~

Agreed, I love Chrome, but there are just so many good FF extensions that I'd have to give up I'm not quite ready to make the switch.

Tried Chrome. It has some nice features.
Nothing nice enough to make me give up my FireFox extensions.
