Blindness

This looks pretty amazing. BF read the book and said it was ++ so we are both excited to see this when it comes out.

I'm very excited about this one too. This one better be good - we deserve it after the huge disappointment "The Happening" was.

Trailer gave a strong vibe of Children of Men (which isn't a bad thing).

Looks like it has good potential and Moore has the acting skill to pull it off.

Definitely looks interesting.

I'm vaguely reminded of a movie (I think, may have been an episode of Twilight Zone or some such) I saw as a kid. The premise was that there was a beautiful aurora one day that could be seen worldwide, so naturally almost everyone in the world went outside to watch it. Within a few hours, anyone who had looked at it was blind. Beyond that, the only thing I remember is a kid who for one reason or another couldn't go outside to watch it, and was one of the few who could still see. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I've been straining to remember more, but I was very young when I saw it. My bf mentioned a book that went along the same lines, and that the visual effect and subsequent blindness was the first stage in an alien attack, so we're thinking the movie I saw may have been based on the book but he doesn't remember the title.
