Are we that jaded as a movie watching group?
I've been seeing a lot of "meh it's decent" in numerous other forums. I think the visual previews built it up to be more of a "knock your socks off" movie than it was, rather than people being jaded and hard to please.

Oh weeeeell. If I really like a movie and others don't, it generally isn't going to affect my opinion or enjoyment of it.

Death Race looked beyond retarded. I'd rather watch Waterworld a thousand times in a row than sit through that piece of shit.

As for me being a fancy nancy movie viewer, yes I expect more. Ironman spoiled the shit holy hell out of me. Fuckers.

The problems I had with it were editing related. I did not see any explination for how they went from needing goggles to see the fae world to not needing them. The set went from spectacular.......to this dry crappy little spot somewhere in Scotland where this no legged guy just comes out of nowhere to help them. I just felt some crucial stuff got left on the cutting room floor.

Also the original characters didn't "grow" at all. They seemed to have way more fun introducing "Casper". Also when they all quit......didn't anyone but me go.....now wtf are they going to do for money. Not much a demon, a ghost, a waterbreather and a pyromaniac are going to be able to do out the the "real" world.
