So now there will be three liberals in the race instead of just two.
And, for some reason, I doubt that Nader will be getting any endorsment from, .....oh say Al Gore.

I have a friend that actually does some business with Nader first-hand (via their periodical) and she can't stand the man. According to her, he's an incompetent, bumbling old fart that throws temper-tantrums.

Re: Nader Enters the Race
If he's a woman and works for a publication. Here are her comments...
- He never learned to type. He had his assistant fax hand-written drafts of his column to Laurie (our copy editor) and his handwriting is atrocious.
- He has no clue how to use a fax machine, the internet or anything more complex than a touch-tone telephone by himself. Even when given careful, non-technical, step-by-step instructions (over the phone, by me-) on how to fax a document to our Payables department, he was unable to do it, and ended up pitching a fit worthy of a four year-old.
- When things don't go the way he wants or expects them to, he whines. When that doesn't work, he blusters. He's especially bad with editors.
- He can't do simple math. It took me several tries to convince him that a week long (Our publication "week" was M-F), five part series of columns, paying $300 per published submission, resulted in a total payment of $1500. He was utterly convinced we owed him $2100 because "He wrote for us for a week, and a week has seven days."
Personally, if it had been up to me, I'd have spiked him on day one and paid him the single-entry's $150 kill fee and not a penny more. I pitied James Fallows for having to put up with him.
I wouldn't let that idiot run an errand for me, much less the country. >_<
