Too bad on Guliani
He was the only candidate I liked. I will end up voting for McCain although I completely disagree with his stance on immigration. I just wish Rudy didn't have bad political advisors and totally blew his campaign. =\

Re: Too bad on Guliani
Rudy cheated on his wife, and brazenly so. If he'll fuck over the person he supposed to care the most about, he'll fuck over anyone.
I'm glad he's out, never liked the bastard.

Correction Mr. President, I DID build this, and please give Lurker a hug, we wouldn't want to damage his self-esteem.

Huckabee is from the South and too socially conservative for me. Romney is also too socially conservative for me and his religious views bother me (I consider Mormonism to be an extreme cult). I liked Rudy because exactly of him cheating on his wife. He's flawed but also a great leader, and I think those make the best leaders. People with pure records or those that claim to be above basic human flaws are the guys that really scare me.Why don't you like Hukabee and Romney?
I basically need a candidate that is pro-choice, anti-illegal immigration, economically conservative, and pro-civil liberties.

What specifically about his stand on immigration do you not agree with?

The part where we boot them all across the border that McCain wisely refuses to agree with, of course.

I have no problems at all supporting McCain. He has always been a moderate conservative that works well with both sides of the aisle and I think he could do a great job as president.

Guliani leaving the race is perhaps the best news I've heard from politics. Ever.
I hope Huckabee is next.

McCain has said and done some dumb things in the past, just like all politicians. If you are looking for someone who has a rediculous amount of experience not only in politics but in life, you should vote for McCain. War veteran, long time politician and decent individual. Sure he's a vote for the status quo, but do you really want Hillary or Obama running this country?

Re: Too bad on Guliani
McCain wouldn't be a particularly strong President, imo. If he ends up with the GOP nomination it will effectively be a pro-war vs anti-war vote. My biggest problem with him is he's rolled over to the Administration's point of view far too often in the last few years to be a serious change in direction for the GOP, which is something I think the party needs.
