It's a marketing term there knucklehead, not radiospeak. We usually say "demo" rather than the plural, since it refers to a particular demographic and not a group of them.

meh, whatever. I've never once taken a marketing class, advertising class, or anything of that nature. any time i say something that pertains to my line of work, i just say radiospeak.

I may dissagree with him politically but every time I have heard Huckabee he has been brilliantly funny. I heard him on a public radio quiz/comedy show a few weeks ago ( http://www.npr.org/templates/story/stor ... d=14255893 ) and he was great.
