Don't want to piss them off too bad because companies will cancel contracts with customers for too much tech support. Granted the recent case I saw was for cell phone support (how do i turn it on.. etc) and people were calling 30+ times a month.

If that's true, that's amazing.

Hmm... that sounds like a cheap way to get out of a contract. Get new phone, sign up to 24 month contract, call them like mad and they terminate. You keep phone!Rsak wrote:Don't want to piss them off too bad because companies will cancel contracts with customers for too much tech support. Here is the article about Sprint Nextel doing it: http://news.com.com/8301-10784_3-9739869-7.html
And it is much more common with actual product support when you sell product through supply chains. In the contracts for partnerships there are mentions to how much money you spend with the company and whether the service exceeds that or not.

Insight Communications. They just came out to swap modems since I changed my phone, and their speedtest put me at a skosh over 12M download, so I guess I gained some speed somewhere.

Not sure why this test thinks I'm in LA when I'm in Virginia. *shrug*

I was also going to say that the test seems a bit bogus based on other test results and the line speed I'm supposed to have, but apparently I'm just having a really speedy day.
