Here's gamespot's guide to cards for C & C 3:

I have a GeForce 7900 (256MB) and I have never had even the slightest framerate glitch. And that was a cheap card. I think, as part of my system upgrade a couple months ago, it was like $150 or so.

So I finshed the GDI campaign last night. The last level was tough. Rsak was right about the Scrin toughness in that level. And they went and built another damn Rift generator after I captured the first one. I can't wait to play their four super sekrut levels after I finish the Nod campaign.

I just picked this up yesterday. It's great, except for certain quirks of the AI. I get a little pissed when I tell an MCV to unpack and instead it just sort of wanders off and wobbles back and forth on its tracks until a Nod suicide squad comes and blows it up.
Speaking of which, what the hell is up with the Croatia mission? Everything has been cake so far and now I'm getting raped with swarms of flame tanks and huge masses of enemy troops by the time I can get the MCV back to base.
I'm starting to get the feeling that maybe I shouldn't be following orders this mission. Let the MCV rot a while and figure something else out.

I'm on the Kane's Tower mission as well. It's rough and I am really struggling. Any thoughts, Rsak? I have tried sitting and waiting and trying top build up a force, but the phase generators get blown up too fast. I cant seem to get a force big enough to take the juggernauts out either. And the GDI just run through my base like mad at about 4 minutes into the level. And if I attack them along the bottom right side, they just eat me alive. I have not tried moving my base yet, but I just might try that. The Scrin wont attack me, so maybe I'll try that next.

It turned out that ignoring orders was the way to go.

Eh, Scrin's strongest attack is Air, but overall, they are the weakest of the 3 faction.Finglefinn wrote:I finally beat Kane's Tower, the last Nod level. Now I'm on to the Scrin campaign, which is even harder than the other two. We'll see. The Scrin have funky strengths and weaknesses.
There's more but not sure if you want to know about that.

How the hell did you beat the Tower then?
I can defend my base with a few quick base defense towers and can capture the juggernauts, but by that time the GDI have flooded the Scrin who are folding up like Paris Hilton's underwear.
With the strategy I have been using it is purely a RNG game of whether Scrin can survive long enough or not.

The sekrut is Venom patrol crafts. Build as many as you can as fast as you can. Plant at least 6 or 8 by the lower right corner of your base by the tiberium. They will protect your base from ground attacks. Then send a bunch of Venoms to the tower to destroy the GDI there and protect it. They should really slow down the attack on the tower. That will give you some time to get the Juggernauts captured. Then build a remote base on the hill by the blue tiberium next to your base and put up 3 or 4 Obelisk of Light supported by at least two Beam Cannons per obelisk. Then you can send the Venoms all over to take out the remaining GDI. Hopefully some of them have been promoted by that point and you have the laser upgrade. Then nuke the shit out of the GDI bases.
