I have seen women who when they reach orgasm will hold thier breath and not say a word but thier back arches body tenses and they still grab fist fulls of your hair while thier face turns bright red from holding thier breath (think it possibly has to do with that whole asphyxiation deal some people are into, personal opinions on that I will save for another day).

The particular ex that I used that example from used to tell me it makes an orgasm more intense when you don't breath which is why I figured it was the whole asphyixiation fetish deal, though personally I do not care for the whole depriving of oxygen strangling your partner til they almost pass out just for a better orgasm thing.

Though Shosh is right too in that you get so lost in the moment you forget to breath with some partners.
