All my serious machines are x64 at the moment. Guess I'll have to toss it on my laptop. I'm interested in how it compares with Avant.

Strange as it may seem, the reason I actually prefer IE over Mozilla (at least this month) is because IE supports ActiveX controls and doesn't need restarting just for installing new ones.

Weirdly enough, I'm back on Firefox for now. The IETab extension solved most of my hangups with it.

Yeah that pisses me off so much but not really too much now with the Session Saver extention. Autosaves all your opentabs before it crashes/you close it.

I don't like IE7, it causes lots of wierd bugs, and makes Steam engine crash a lot (CS/DoD etc).

I'm using Firefox

I was forced to download IE7 as part of my MS updates and I much prefer IE6

I like it better than IE6, mostly due to the tabbed browsing.

Yeah it's gonna be quirky because it's a new release, but give them a few months for the patches to start rolling in. If it acts up, end task its ass.

MS finally has something close to a W3C compliant rendering engine. Getting to know IE7 as a web developer has been a hassle but it's a better engine.

I've never understood the fuss over Firefox. The main benefit you're getting is a smaller attack footprint. Sure they update it more often than IE, but that's also a bigger chance they'll introduce bugs at some point.

I can't use IE7 because the update includes genuine windows validation.

I like firefox better anyway.

Call 'em. Say you reformatted (a virus is a good excuse) and the original code for your windows copy isn't working now. They'll give you a new code.
