Now just think, those are some dorky College kids that didn't know the answer. Do they all live in caves?

Well if it wasn't for mentioning Leroy Jenkins I would not have known the answer. I don't follow WoW closely enough to know that the world is named.

Same. Leroy Jenkins is only thing that gave me the answer.

Kinda sad when I've been playing the game for a month and same as above, Leroy was what gave it away for me.

That's ok. After 5 years of EQ I still didn't know like any of the socalled Lore and background info on most of the zones and boss mob relationships.

Yeah, think it was the items you could only have 1 of at a time.

Oh wait, you mean backstory... well I do remember a cinematic when installing the original CD, of Veeshan clawing up the world. And other backstory which got contradicted more and more with each expansion, especially PoP.

EQ Lore? Uhm - that went something like: hot blonde elf chick seduces a lizard in a jungle. A short time later, she watches over a party as they travel to snowy, ice covered lands where they encounter nordic giants with large axes. (Hot elf chick becomes some sorta demi-god.)

After killing giants for awhile, they get bored and decide to fight dragons instead. Killing giants makes the dragons happy and vice versa. To everyone's bloodthirsty joy: our heroes decide kill giants AND dragons simultaneously. (Hot elf chick gets a statue in her honor.)

Finally, after all of this warfare and strive, the gods intervene!11 - so the players destroy all of the gods as well. Eventually the players go back in time and rinse/repeat above. (Hot elf chick shows off "assets" at fanfairs.)

And that's Kunark through PoP lore.

Shit. You're right.

Luclin lore/history:

"A new character appears: the catman. Catmnan chases elf chick to the moon and back, but can't score like the lizardman did.

Adventurers are so happy to be on the moon - they stand still in a room for hours/days and pretend to be NPC vendors. As a result of this room, the eastern commonlands tunnel becomes silent. The shady swashbuckler gets sho roneree all by himself."
